versatile wedding venue, boasting floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking
water and Geelong city Skyline views. It truly is the perfect place to host a
memorable wedding celebration, no matter the size.
The Pier Geelong has been meticulously designed to provide the ultimate
atmosphere for a day you and your guests will never forget. The
breathtaking views provide a stunning backdrop for photo opportunities that
can’t be repeated elsewhere. Our staff are more than happy to meet your
photographer onsite to show them some of our unique vantage points.

Geelong is Victoria's largest provincial city just 60 minutes from the
Melbourne CBD and the gateway to the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula, Surf
Coast and Great Ocean Road. The Pier Geelong is a hop, skip and jump from
many of Geelong's attractions including the beautifully restored 1892
Carousel, the art deco promenade and the famous Bollards Trail.
The Pier Geelong is 30 minutes from Avalon airport, and once in Geelong is
only a short walk to all Hotels in the CBD or easy drive to all outer suburbs.

Whether it is an intimate gathering of 80 close friends or a lavish affair for
700 plus, The Pier Geelong is the perfect place to host a memorable wedding
reception, no matter the size. With over 20 years experience in the
hospitality industry, you can be assured your day will run smoothly.
The Pier Geelong offers many options:
The Hopetoun Room can cater for a wedding for up to 260 guests seated or
600 guests standing. Its views include Limeburner's Bay, Rippleside and the
boat moored at the Western Beach Yacht Club.
The Lillias Room can cater for up to 160 guests seated and 400 guests
standing. Views include Avalon, Port Phillip Bay, Eastern Beach, Royal
Geelong Yacht Club and the whole waterfront precinct. An extra feature of
the Lillias Room is the enclosed glass terrace featuring large windows, when
open, allow the perfect open air location without being subject to inclement
weather conditions. Perfect for ceremonies or just adding that extra wow to
your special day.
The Pier Events Centre as one large room can cater for over 700 guests
seated or 1000 guests standing.
Ceremony
The Terrace area within the Lillias Room is the perfect backdrop for all
weather, open or closed air waterfront ceremonies with views overlooking
Eastern Beach and the Royal Geelong Yacht Club. This area is suitable for 100
guests. You can choose to arrive via car or make it extra special and arrive
via the lower deck by boat, along The Pier by horse and carriage or with prior
notice by helicopter.
Our ceremony package includes:
 the use of the area for a 2 hour period;
 set up of 30 white chairs;
 registry table with white linen;
 iced water station
Cost: $600
The Terrace is available for your ceremony only in conjunction with holding a
wedding reception at The Pier Geelong. Optional extras include carpet aisle
runner in a range of colours, decorative bollards for the aisle, floral
arrangements and more.

We understand your wedding is unique, so we are more than happy to tailor
a package to suit your individual needs and customs. Below are some
popular packages for you to create your special day from. However, if these
packages do not quite work for you, then simply let us know your budget
and we will customise your day to your requirements. We strive to deliver
events that are outside the box, so no idea is too crazy!
Another popular package upgrade is to offer your guests a ‘choice menu’,
which allows guests to choose their desired menu option on the day.

Offering sweet and savoury bite size delights, accompanied by quality
beverages from our tea and coffee selection.
Available only on Sundays from 2:00pm-5:00pm.

Terms & Conditions
EVENT TIMING
The duration of lunch time weddings are 4 hours up to 4pm.
CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT
A signed service agreement, credit card information and $3000 deposit are
required to secure your booking. The final payment is to be paid a minimum
14 days prior to your wedding. Beverages charged on consumption are to be
paid prior or on the night via a secured credit card. Any additional
outstanding charges are to be finalized at the conclusion of your event.
Final confirmation of guest numbers is required 14 days prior to your event
and this will be the minimum amount charged for.
PRICING
Pricing and menu (food and beverage) are subject to change.
All packages are based on a minimum of 100 guests.
15% surcharge applies on all public holidays.
