Archbishop’s Charity and Development Drive
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made a commitment
to the 2015 Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive.
The ABCD supports the spiritual and corporal works of mercy of
the Archdiocese of Miami through which we, as Catholics, seek
to advance the mission of our Church here in South Florida by assisting our parishes, schools
and charitable institutions to continue to touch, and more important to change lives.
We encourage those who have not yet pledged, to please send in your contribution. ABCD
envelopes are available in the pews, from the ushers, in the parish office or make a gift online
at www.isupportabcd.org. We can meet our goal with your help!

Daily Morning Mass
Schedule During Lent
Monday through Friday
7:30 am & 8:30 am ~ Saturday 8:30 am
Stations of the Cross
Thursday Evenings 7 pm
Each Thursday evening during Lent, we
will have the opportunity to gather and
celebrate the sacred liturgy where the
“Stations of the Cross” are presented during the
Liturgy of the Word. This presentation of the
Stations is nothing like you remember from the
past! These reflections are a unique way of
putting you right on the road to Calvary with
Jesus. Along the “way”, He shares with us His
thoughts and feelings. He also shows the parallels
with our own daily struggles. We invite you to
draw on the insight, strength and wisdom
contained in them. If you do only one thing for
spiritual growth this Lent, let this be it! It could
change your life!
Prayer Team Ministry
Prayer teams will be available in the Chapel on
Sunday, March 15th after the 10 am Mass. The
team members would like to invite you into the
Chapel for a few minutes of quiet prayer for the
needs or concerns for yourself, a family member, or a
friend. A prayer team attendant will be at the Chapel
doors to direct you to the prayer teams. It’s a wonderful
and peaceful experience. Prayer teams will be available
after the 10 am Mass every third Sunday of the month.

March 8, 2015 ~ GOD’S WORD TODAY
“We proclaim Christ crucified.” Saint Paul’s words come to us on this, the mid-point of our
Lenten journey. As we listen to the challenging words of today’s scriptures, let us remember
that it is the cross of Christ that reveals the central truth of Christian faith. For on that cross,
the Lord took upon himself the sins of all - took on every breach of God’s commandments and won salvation for those who would turn away from sin and believe in the Gospel.
