This is my second year teaching third grade at Ethel Boyes. Before teaching at Ethel Boyes I taught first grade for 9 years at A.H. Bush Elementary. I love teaching and love every one of my students! I believe in setting high expectations for myself and my students. I grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Westside, Eagle Rock and graduated from Skyline High School. After high school I attended ISU where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and teaching certificate. After graduating from college I married my high school sweetheart and we settled in Idaho Falls. We have two children who also attend Ethel Boyes. My daughter Catrina is in second grade and my son John is in kindergarten. We also have two St. Bernard's, Chief and Bea, at our house. Mark your calendars!!! Donuts with Dad! Friday, March 20 8:00-8:55 am Bring dad, grandpa, or any other special adult to the cafeteria, and enjoy donuts, juice and milk, courtesy of Ethel Boyes PTO! Hope to see you all there!! I enjoy spending time with my family camping, fishing, four wheeling and attending baseball games. We love the outdoors. My hobbies include scrapbooking, crochet, reading and of course teaching. Ethel Boyes is a great school and I am so glad I moved here to teach. Teacher True-or-False: 1) I have traveled to all 50 states. 2) I grew up riding horses. 3) I love CHOCOLATE!
