Thank you to everyone—students, teachers, and parents--who supported
our ValYou card fund-raiser, and also our Barnes and Noble Book Fair! Our
PTO counts on your support for our fund-raising efforts. If you didn't get the
chance to visit Barnes and Noble, you can still support the fund-raiser
through Monday, March 9 by shopping online. Just visit B&N online and
enter Bookfair ID 11560281 when you go to check out.
The PTO is always needing volunteers and relies on them to make our
activities successful. Please contact the PTO or your child's teacher to see
how you can help.
Ethel Boyes PTO
Teacher Spotlight
Mrs. Giannini, 3rd Grade
My name is Christina Giannini. This is my
second year teaching third grade at Ethel
Boyes. Before teaching at Ethel Boyes I
taught first grade for 9 years at A.H. Bush
Elementary. I love teaching and love every
one of my students! I believe in setting high
expectations for myself and my students.
I grew up in Idaho Falls and attended
Westside, Eagle Rock and graduated from
Skyline High School. After high school I
attended ISU where I graduated with a
Bachelor of Science and teaching certificate.
After graduating from college I married my
high school sweetheart and we settled in
Idaho Falls. We have two children who also
attend Ethel Boyes. My daughter Catrina is in
second grade and my son John is in
kindergarten. We also have two St.
Bernard's, Chief and Bea, at our house.
Mark your calendars!!!
Donuts with Dad!
Friday, March 20
8:00-8:55 am
Bring dad, grandpa, or any other
special adult to the cafeteria, and
enjoy donuts, juice and milk,
courtesy of Ethel Boyes PTO! Hope
to see you all there!!
I enjoy spending time with my family
camping, fishing, four wheeling and attending
baseball games. We love the outdoors. My
hobbies include scrapbooking, crochet,
reading and of course teaching. Ethel Boyes
is a great school and I am so glad I moved
here to teach.
Teacher True-or-False: 1) I have traveled to
all 50 states. 2) I grew up riding horses. 3) I
love CHOCOLATE!
Last month's “false”: #2: Mrs. Crawford does
NOT like to eat fish! :)
