Junior Technical Superintendent (m/f)
Job description
As Junior Technical Superintendent you will complete a comprehensible familiarization period in Bremerhaven,
after which you will handling the full scope of work as a Superintendent, being responsible for our tugs based in
Hamburg.
Your tasks involve:
• Supervising vessels with regard to technical matters (e.g. preparing repairs and dry-docking
specifications, monitoring all repairs afloat and in dry-dock)
• Procurement (e.g. tendering, negotiations and controlling the purchases of spare parts and
consumables)
• Ensuring tug compliance in regard to classification, flag state and port state rules and regulations
• Vessel inspections in respect of technical, operational and ISO/ISM systems
• Training of Engineers on board of tugs.
Profile description
As an ideal candidate you hold a patent CI or CT or similar. You have at least 2 – 3 years of working experience in
a relevant and corresponding maritime field. Your organizational skills and flexibility enables you to stay in
control and to keep track of events, even in difficult situations. A good command of the English language as well
as MS-Office applications will be of advantage.
