All Year 8 students are required to attend a Field Study Day excursion to Jamberoo on
Friday 13 March 2015.
This excursion supports the students’ learning in Year 8 Technology – The Built
Environment.

MEET:
TAS steps at 7:45 am
DEPART:
Burwood GHS at 8:15 am.
TRANSPORT:
Hired coaches.
RETURN:
To school approximately 4:15 pm.
WEAR:
Students wear full school sports uniform.
BRING:
A backpack with: swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen, camera, lunch/drink or
money to buy lunch, plastic bag (to bring home wet costume/towel)
COST:
$50.00 per student (includes transport cost and entry fee) to be paid to
the front office by 2:00 pm, Wednesday 25 February 2015. Please bring
correct money when paying. (If you have received an invoice in the mail and
already paid this amount, please do not pay now.)
Please note: water activities are involved. Parents must complete all parts of the
permission note attached.

Permission notes should be returned to the TAS classroom teacher (or box outside TAS
Staffroom) by Wednesday 25 February 2015.

The excursion to Jamberoo Action Park on Friday 13 March 2015 will involve the following water
or swimming activities:
Water slides, water rides, swimming pool.
These activities will take place at: Jamberoo Action Park, 1215 Jamberoo Rd, Jamberoo.
The school will not provide flotation devices to students.
