Trust Audit System(TAS)

phases:
The TAS will provide the Law Firm with the capability to examine and assess whether claims were
accurately processed and
approved for payment. These claims will be submitted electronically to the Law Firm by a third party trust claim processor

TAS will be a new and separate application, built for a different purpose. TAS will be used to assess, audit and report on
claims that have already been processed by the Trust Processor. Claim data from the in-house system will be used by TAS
to compare and evaluate claims.
Business Goals
The purpose of The TAS is to:
1. Get data on claims to make sure they meet the criteria for payment and where applicable, identify the reasons claims
should not have been approved.
2. Ensure that no claimant approved by trust has been previously paid/does not get paid again.
3. Ensure that awards on pre-established claims are in the correct amounts.
4. Audit claims to identify systemic failures to comply with payment criteria and identify what claims should be approved
/ not approved.
