Siberian Federal University invites students majoring in Economics and Management from
Russian and overseas universities who speak English and can use the basic methodology of
economic analysis to participate in the International Summer School 2015 “Modern Challenges
in Economic Science and Practice” to be held in Krasnoyarsk city, Russia, on July 06 - 19, 2015.
 The Educational Program of the International Summer School 2015 includes the

Knowledge-based economy and life-long education. Lector Prof. David Guile, Head of

Models of Innovative Economic Development. Lector Dr. Vladislav Rutskiy, associate
professor of the Chair of Economic theories, School of Economics, Management and
Environmental Studies, Siberian Federal University, post-Dr. of Nijmegen School of

English as a Foreign Language in Professional Communication for Future Economists.

 Participants of the International Summer School 2015 will have a unique
opportunity to:
1. Attend lectures by Russian and international experts in economics
2. Participate in seminars and work on economic projects in small groups
3. Learn more about the economy, culture and history of Siberia
4. Participate in the cultural and sports program

Languages of communication: English and Russian
Upon completion of the program the participants will be issued a Certificate (7ECTS)

Submit your travel passport copy
Fill in a visa invitation form (if needed)
Submit a brief CV about your research interests
Sign a payment agreement at http://mlsh-econ.sfu-kras.ru
 Expenditures:
• The cost of participation in the International Summer School 2015 is 300 $
• This includes the registration fee, visa invitation, transfers from / to the airport,
accommodation at Siberian Federal University before and after the International Summer
School 2015, transfers from/ to the location of the International Summer School 2015, the
educational program, educational materials, full-board accommodation, and the cultural
and sports program.
• Payment methods: bank wire transfer (in the framework of the agreement signed) or by
cash upon arrival (in the framework of the agreement signed )
• The participants should cover their transportation costs to Krasnoyarsk and back, visa fee,
medical insurance.
 Location of the International Summer School 2015 :
Russia, Krasnoyarsk city, “Polytechnic” Sports and Recreation Complex of the Siberian Federal
University located on the bank of the picturesque Krasnoyarsk reservoir in the Siberian taiga .
