March 29 | Palm Sunday
The Song Everlasting 8:30 / 11:05am
The Song Everlasting will be dramatically presented by the Chancel Choir, Church
Orchestra, narrators and dancers. Composer Joseph Martin incorporates hymns,
spirituals and folksongs, and intersects these musical moments with the story of
Christ’s ministry among us.
Sing to the King 9:45 am
Join us as we celebrate Palm Sunday in praise. This special service of song
and scripture will bring us together as Celebrate leads us in song as we praise
Jesus as King and we prepare for Holy Week and Easter.

holy week & easter
April 2 | Holy Thursday
7:00pm
Our Holy Thursday service features traditional music, liturgy and a message of hope as we
remember Jesus' last evening before His crucifixion. The evening culminates in the celebration
of Holy Communion, the sacrament instituted by Christ on the very night we remember.
April 3 | At the Foot of the Cross
7:00pm
On this somber day when we remember the sacrifice of the cross we invite you to join us for a
time of song and reflection. Celebrate will lead as we consider the grace offered to us on the
cross and prepare for Easter through song, scripture, and communion.
April 5 | Easter Sunday
8:30 / 11:05am
The pastors and choirs will lead the congregation in a celebration of the Resurrection. The
Chancel Choir, Spirit Singers, and the Church Orchestra conclude the services with Handel's
"Hallelujah Chorus."
9:45 am
We join our voices together in this special service of praise. Celebrate leads us in a
contemporary celebration of the resurrection of Jesus with moving praise music and an
uplifting message from Rev. Jim Bass.
Sunday Schools (Adult, Student, & Children) will not meet. Childcare is available for children four and under.

evening of food and fellowship. The fun begins at 6:30 pm with a
meal catered by the ladies of ChristWay Community Church, and
concludes with a Silent Auction. Proceeds from the auction go
towards providing Student Ministry Scholarships.
Dinner tickets go on sale between services this Sunday, March 22,
at the Ministry Center to the left as you exit the Sanctuary and at
the back Welcome Center, or from in the Admin Building during
the week. Tickets are $15 per person.

New Women’s
Study beginning
March 25
Faithful Friends Women’s Bible Study group,
facilitated by Shannan Wyatt, is beginning
a new study, Hebrews: the nearness of
King Jesus, by Lisa Harper, on Wednesday,
March 25. Hebrews was a sermon for a
specific people and culture in the midst
of martyrdom and persecution, but is also
so relevant for us today, reminding us that
Jesus is our accessible King—not a faraway
God, but an up-close Redeemer.
Please join us in E-200 on Wednesdays at
9:30-11:00 am from March 25 through May 6
for Hebrews: the nearness of King Jesus. As
always, come late, leave early and/or bring a
friend! We hope to see you soon!

Studies or to find a group, contact Janis

College Boxes
Our college box ministry sends a care
package at final exam time to all of our
college students. The boxes contain an
inspirational book, snacks, and information
on young adult events over the break. To
ensure that all students receive a box this
semester, we request that all names and
addresses be emailed to Laura Hetsko at
[email protected] by March 31. Because
addresses and attendance statuses change
very frequently, please provide all addresses,
even if it is the same as last semester. Also,
we are looking for volunteers to help pack
boxes and to provide homemade brownies.
Please email Laura if you are able to help.
