Enhanced drivability, smoothness, responsiveness, power delivery and performance Boost and timing adjustable Stage 1 The 1.8T engine has huge tuning potential even in standard form. Revo Stage1 software gives great increases in power and torque throughout the rev range making any vehicle with the 1.8T engine much more capable and fun to drive. Revo stage1 software is designed to maximise the potential of the engine whilst working safely within standard hardware limitations, our software is tuned for drivability giving you the most useable power/torque throughout the rev-‐range. Rather than chasing peak dyno figures we tune to give you fantastic power delivery and a spread of torque throughout the rev range. This software will be setup by your Revo Dealer to suit the fuel quality and conditions your car is being used in. Along with the performance benefits from Stage1 software most drivers also see improvements in fuel economy. Product Datasheet Stage 2 Stage 2 software for the 1.8T is designed to make the most of additional airflow and cooling modifications. Whilst stage2 can be setup to suit just an uprated exhaust with sports or de-‐cat you will not see the full benefit of the engine/software without using the full hardware list and running an uprated intake and Front Mount Intercooler. There are many other hardware modifications that can be done to maximise the potential of the engine such as uprated boost pipes and Turbo inlet pipe. Hardware Requirements: -‐ Turbo Back Exhaust with Sports or De-‐cat -‐ Uprated FMIC -‐ LCR/S3/TT225 spec. 380cc (@3bar fuel pressure) EV12 style Injectors Note: uprated standard location intercoolers will still limit the potential of the engine Hardware Recommendations: -‐ High Flow Intake System with correct MAF scaling -‐ Uprated Turbo Inlet Pipe (TIP) -‐ Uprated Boost Pipes Note: The stock TIP is in most cases inadequate and can collapse under load. Later vehicles were fitted with a revised factory part to solve that issue however an uprated TIP will give much better breathing ability Stage 3 Stage3 software has been developed to suit a proven hardware upgrade package, Tuning is adjustable and can be tailored to suit your needs. Stage3 software is designed to be run with a GT28RS turbo kit and all the bolt on hardware requirements. For this software to run efficiently and reliably, a strict hardware build list must be adhered to. Furthermore, our SPS (Serial Port Switch) is highly recommended to guarantee optimal performance gains.
Hardware Requirements: -‐ GT2871 Turbo Kit with high flow exhaust manifold -‐ 550cc Injectors with stock FPR -‐ 3" Turbo Back Exhaust with Sports or De-‐cat -‐ High Flow Intake System -‐ Uprated FMIC Intercooler (note: uprated standard location intercoolers will massively limit the potential of the engine) Hardware Recommendations: -‐ Upgraded highflow fuel pump -‐ can be in-‐line or in-‐tank -‐ Upgraded Clutch -‐ Upgraded Engine Mounts (inc. Dogbone mount) -‐ Boost Gauge Product Datasheet -‐ Wideband A/F or Lambda display -‐ Uprated Rods/Pistons (Required if you intend to run high boost levels) NOTE: Most turbo kits require fabricated Downpipe/Exhaust NOTE: Stock MAF Housing and Sensor should be used TUNING METHOD – FLASH Vehicle can be flashed via the OBDII Port Flash time – approx. 15-‐20minutes OBD location – below bonnet release lever in drivers side foot-‐well NOTE: All control modules need to be fault free in order to flash the ECU HOW TO SETUP REVO PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE ON THIS VEHICLE Your Revo software is switchable between ‘Stock’ & 3 Performance Modes with the SPS Switching Device. Mode Selection Stock Mode Description Sets the vehicle to a stock like performance mode* Performance Mode #1 Sets your vehicle to Revo Performance mode A (Tuned for lower octane pump fuel/poor operating conditions e.g:95ron) Performance Mode #2 Sets your vehicle to Revo Performance mode B (Tuned for high octane pump fuel/good operating conditions e.g:98ron) Performance Mode #3 Sets your vehicle to Revo Performance mode C (Tuned for high octane fuel/ideal operating conditions e.g:100ron) NOTE: Stock mode is not completely stock, it will run similar performance levels to a stock vehicle (Limits remain modified). Your Revo dealer has a complete factory stock file, if any main dealer warranty or servicing work is required, we recommend returning your vehicle to complete stock. NOTE: Anti-‐Theft mode is not applicable. NOTE: Valet mode is not applicable. NOTE: It is not recommended to run this car on 95ron fuel.
