Uncover our wartime history Meet one of the friendly Brisbane Greeters to uncover Brisbane’s wartime history and commemorate the sacrifices made by Australian service men and women. Marking the upcoming ANZAC Centenary, Brisbane Greeters will explore this spirit on a ‘Wartime and The American Chapter’ tour. Recognising the sacrifices made by Australians in conflicts from the Boer War to Vietnam, you will be guided to a number of significant memorials including Anzac Square, which has recently undergone phases one and two of a $13 million refurbishment.
