 Senior: participants ages 14-19 years old as of
December 31, 2014.
 Novice: participant who has never loped in any
show (open, 4-H, breed, gymkhana, schooling, etc.)
and meets one of the following criteria: first or
second year showing under saddle (does not include
lead line) at any show, OR first year in a 4-H horse
project and is either 9 or 10 years old as of
December 31, 2014.
Classes:
 All riders must wear a helmet that meets ASTM/SEI
standards while mounted at all times.
 The 4-H Uniform is appropriate for all events: riding

 Classes with less than three (3) riders may be

Event Courtesies:
 Parents/ Project Leaders will supervise their
members and their mounts at all times.
 Dogs and pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
