About us:
9 People 4 Change is a national level development organization that aims to bring about a
much needed transformation in India. We are basically a team of enthusiasts who have come
together to work towards an all-inclusive human development. We strive to make our country
a better place to live for its citizens by creating awareness, empowering people, and
participating actively in this national umbrella campaign.
“9 People 4 Change” means 9 people coming together to provide a meaningful change in the
lives of individuals by jointly taking nine steps towards transformation.
We have volunteers from diverse fields with the same belief as ours. We heartily welcome
keen volunteers who are ready to make a difference by standing upright for the right cause and
inspiring lives. For us every single contribution counts.

It is our mission to transform India into a Green, Clean and Great (GCG) nation through
a value- based coherent long term approach by inspiring, informing and enabling individuals to
improve the quality of their life and the nation as a whole.

Activity:
Dynamic Team of 9 People 4 Change decided to transform a Primary Schools under the
vertical of Education for Less Privileged with the help of local Educational Authorities,
Influential People and Companies. Team is implementing the programme of establishing a
Center of Excellence for Quality Education.
9 People 4 Change, A Team of Transforming People has adopted a Government School in
Kaushambi, Ghaziabad (Delhi/NCR) and whole hearted efforts would be made to transform
the school in 2 phases. First phase will complete on 11th May, 2015 and after its evaluation
2nd phase will be completed by 5th June, 2015 (Success ratio will be 95% for project
completion).
Our objective is to establish a Center of Excellence for Quality Education with quality of
infrastructure and other facilities and emphasis on value based educational environment and
sustainable results to achieve the objective of transformation. Provide necessary
infrastructure to satisfy both learning and teaching needs and also for sports and
co‐curricular activities. 9 People 4 Change Team will provide a sufficient scope and encourage
students as well as teachers for sports, recreation and other outdoor activities.
9 People 4 Change, a Center of Excellence for Quality Education will be an outcome and
network of diverse civil society organizations and campaigning to achieve free basic quality
education for all the children from economically backward community, with a particular
emphasis on kids who lives in slum areas, and on the basis of economic condition of their
parents . It also advocates for enhanced working conditions and training of teachers and
quality of environment for children with all the basic required facilities.
A good small library with books and magazines for students and teachers will be created.
9 People 4 Change include the items that inculcate leadership qualities, team spirit,
participation abilities, development of soft skills and ability to deal with real life situations.

Vision:
The Vision of a Center of Excellence for Quality Education is to provide our student’s value
based education enabling them to make the right choice towards achieving their goals and
personal excellence to live a quality of life according to their interest and to achieve our
vision the endeavor to develop the school as a Center of Excellence for Quality Education
based on fundamental values and achievable targets.
Our mission:
The mission of a Center of Excellence for Quality Education is to provide good quality of
environment and to create opportunities for value based primary education to all students,
irrespective of caste and creed and mold the students in to true citizens of the nation with a
keen sense of responsibility, honesty and self-dependency.
Some of our main objectives are given below to achieve our mission:
1. Shared learning objectives.
2. Quality of Infrastructure.
3. Value based education.
4. Encouragement to recreational, extracurricular and outdoor activities.
5. Reading Habits of students.
6. Counseling systems and support in the school.

Issues: The Primary School is clear reflection of state of primary education in our society.
9 People 4 Change is a team who believes in shared learning and value based education at
primary level as young students are the future of our country but unfortunately Primary
Government School in Kaushambi lacks simple basic facilities and quality of infrastructure for
healthy environment describes as below: School is up to 5th std.
 There is 191 girls and 184 boys are studying. Total number of enrolled students is 375
approx (School Record).
 01 common toilet which need whitewash
 Students sits on ground so need quality of carpets or sheets as we can’t put furniture due
to limited space and larger number of students
 8 Class rooms are available but 3 rooms require repairing and 1 room requires
reconstructions of roof and need to cover drain at main gate of school.
 Poor condition of the kitchen & store (Whitewash and Painting).
 Lack of toys, sports equipment’s and items for recreational activities.
 School lacks white wash, painting, dustbins and Sweeper.
 Electric wires need to be set properly on roof which could be a danger to students and
staff
 Lack of stationary items for students.
 Small Library with computer.
 Lack of furniture for principle room which include a quality of table, chair, bookshelves,
maps etc.
 Awareness and Motivation of students, counseling sessions and recreational sessions.
Plan of Action:
 To transform the school as a Center of Excellence for Quality Education of learning, help
of any individual or group willing to join hands for the social cause shall be seeked.
 Transforming Team of ‘9 People 4 Change’ envisage to achieve this by working as
facilitator, motivator and as catalyst to utilize all available ongoing schemes of Govt. and
to use CSR funds of the various Industries & organizations in the city.
 Local MLA, Ward Member, Disha Foundation and School Management Committee(if
exists),Municipal Corporation shall be closely associated for Transforming the School to
make a Center of Excellence for Quality Education in a time bound manner.
 Awareness and Motivation camps will be regularly organized with the help of different
social organization, volunteers from different backgrounds and NGO’s.
 Training & exposure of teaching staff towards latest modern education system.
 Approach will be to maintain and sustain all transformed status.

 We would maintain absolute transparency all throughout our work. The supply of the
required products and services would be direct to the school and Transforming team will
monitor it closely with the inspection team and School Authorities.
 No funds shall be created or accumulated by 9 People 4 Change group.

team will monitor the project progress closely on daily basis and coordinate with School
Principle.

Project Guidelines:
 No member will be allowed to take cash donation from any sources.
 Transparency will be kept at all levels to make a successful project
 All the vendors will be selected on the basis of price and quality of work
competitiveness.
 Quotations will be analyzed before finalizing any project work.
 All the members will put their efforts to complete the project in a given
timeframe whenever required.
 Team members will not get any compensation or benefits for their efforts
and time. The work will be voluntary in nature.
 Other guidelines yet to be decided.
