9Wood Logo Usage

9Wood Logo Guidelines
The 9Wood logo is available to our business and industry partners for use in their
promotional materials. We appreciate and encourage the use of our logo in your
marketing efforts. We also know that consistency with respect to the presentation of our
brand is an important aspect of successful promotion.
This document is designed to assist you in making sure your promotional materials
maintain a consistent “look and feel” with 9Wood’s marketing. Our hope is that we can
partner together to present a unified, concise and penetrating message.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Milo Skinner ([email protected]).
We are more than happy to assist in what ways we can.
Acceptable Formats
When possible, please use vector graphics (PDF, EPS, AI) in print. Raster graphics (JPEG, GIF, PNG)
are most suitable for the web. If you must use a raster graphic in print, please ensure the
resolution is at least 300dpi.
Full Color:
The preferred format is a full-color logo with the
smaller “Division 9” text included.
Minimal Logo, Full Color:
When vertical or horizontal space available limits
the size at which the logo will be used, the smaller text
may be omitted if it is too small to be legible. The thin
line should also be omitted.
Black and White Logo:
When color display is not available, the logo may be
used in black and white. The smaller “Division 9” text
may be omitted if needed.

Color and Size
The red color in the 9Wood logo is a key component in our
PANTONE 485 U
RGB 238, 49, 36
branding and recognition. The Pantone, RGB and CMYK formulas
CMYK 0, 95, 100, 0
for the red color are listed at right. Generally speaking, overusing
the red in your graphic design will detract from the logo. Also be
cautious when placing the 9Wood logo near other red design elements.
The most common mistake when using the 9Wood logo is running the logo too small or
without sufficient clear space surrounding it. Please see the diagram below for our
recommended minimum size and spacing.

Company Name
When using the company name in promotional and marketing material, please use
9Wood, as opposed to 9Wood, Inc. Note there is no space between the digit 9 and the
word Wood, and that Wood is capitalized.
Web Usage
We ask that any time our logo is displayed on the web it is also a hyperlink to this
address: http://9wood.com. Properly formatting graphics for use on the web can be a
nuanced process. The sample graphics files enclosed with this document are a good
starting point, but if you would like graphic or coding assistance please don’t hesitate to
contact Milo Skinner ([email protected]) directly.
We thank you for partnering with us to bring value to our industry.
