Junior Scheduler
JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Scheduler role is responsible for executing accurate schedules for transmission
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES







Carry out daily checklist to prepare accurate schedules for sending to playout providers.
Process spot files from Sales and send complete schedules to playout providers.
Attend meetings as necessary and keep any grids updated and distribute any relevant information.
Inputting continuity items and information to set deadlines and liaising with the continuity team ref. schedule changes
and updates within the schedule.
Work with the sponsorship team to update rotations, and accurately process and schedule credits.
To view and log programmes taking into account transitions, commercial compliance and editorial judgements.
To provide cover for other department members in their absence in some areas.
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Skills
 Experience within the broadcasting industry.
 Some knowledge/experience of Media Machine or other scheduling systems preferred.
 Good PC skills including Microsoft packages.
