Class Description
Afri-Cardio
All the benefits of a regular class, but with West African dance movements, expressive energy, and awesome music.
Alexander Technique
Learn to organize natural movement around a free neck and spine. Helpful for relief of pain and other chronic
problems and for improvement of any workout or daily task.
Aqua Barre
This class provides a whole body workout in the warm water using Barre, Balance and Aqua Yoga poses.
AquaBata
Tabata intervals of 20 second bursts of intense activity followed by 10 seconds of rest will improve muscular/
cardiorespiratory endurance, metabolic rate and body composition.

Deep Water Interval
Aqua interval is for those ready to step up to a new level of cardiovascular conditioning and improved
cardiovascular performance. Deep water interval incorporates Aqua Jogger™ flotation belts.
Aqua Strength

Parents, get a cardio and strength workout with your baby or toddler in a stroller (please bring stroller and use

Baby & Me Water Ex
Warm-water exercise class for parents and babies incorporating cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility

Balance
Improve balance, increase core strength and reduce the fear of falling. The Foundations class is for those new
to exercise. The Challenge and Workout classes offer intermediate to advanced exercises.

Biathlon
A combination of cycle and running. May include athletic conditioning and core strength exercises.
BODYCOMBAT®
This energetic cardio class draws from karate, boxing, and muay thai to burn 700+ calories per class.
BODYJAM®
This 55-minute class is an addictive fusion of the latest dance styles, including hip hop and Latin, to the
hottest sounds. The emphasis is on having fun while you break a sweat!
BODYPUMP®
This barbell class strengthens all major muscles in a motivating group environment.
BodyPUMP™ 101 allows time for new participants to meet the instructor and learn the basics.
BODYSTEP®
Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, this cardio class strengthens and shapes the lower body.
BodySTEP™ 101 allows time for new participants to meet the instructor and learn the basic moves.
BODYPUMP/STEP Interval
75 minute class with intervals of BodyPUMP™ and BodySTEP™ for one great workout.
Boxing Fitness

Cardio Jam
A high-energy, traditional floor aerobics class. Great for those who like to dance.
ChairFit
An effective alternative to conventional exercise if you cannot stand for prolonged periods of time. This class can
help you build strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, balance and improve core strength.
Chair Yoga
Traditional Hatha Yoga poses done with the assistance of a chair. No need to get up and down from the floor.
ChoreoStep
Challenging and creative step choreography to build your cardiovascular fitness. Beginning steppers are
encouraged to try BodySTEP™ or ChoreoStep Lite to learn step choreography basics first.
Core
Core etc.
Work your abdominals, obliques, and lower back using a variety of equipment. CORE etc. (Level 1-3):

CXWORX™
The ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. Dynamic training hones in on your abs, glutes, back and obliques.
Cycle

Incorporates dance exercises and pilates technique to provide a full body workout while creating lean

Learn the 5 basic principles of the Pilates reformer (spring-loaded resistance, pulleys and sliding carriage
apparatus). This class is attended until approval is given by the instructor.

Pedal & Kettle

Prenatal Water EX
Customized to meet the needs of expectant moms.
Prenatal Yoga
Mothers-to-be in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters learn gentle yoga postures and breathing techniques.
Pump Lite
Use a variety of equipment, with moderate intensity or less, to increase muscular strength and endurance.
Qigong
Slow, gentle stretching and breathing exercises developed in China to improve health/longevity.
Restorative Yoga
The body is placed in restful postures with the support of props. All the postures will gently stretch the body
while allowing for deep rest and relaxation.
R.I.P.P.E.D.™
Total body “plateau proof fitness formula” workout utilizing resistance and cardio training. This class
combines Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet components to get you fit.
Senior Aquatics
A thorough workout and great social experience, co-sponsored by the Senior Center.
Stretch
A gentle, effective stretching class. Stretch Plus: Includes foam rollers, balls, and exercises to increase range
of motion, unlock tight muscles and improve athletic performance.
Strength Challenge
This class uses weighted equipment with non-stop interval blasts of strength and core specific exercises.
Tabata
Four minutes of high-intensity training, alternating between 20 seconds of max training followed by a
10-second rest for a total of eight rounds. These workouts are fast-paced, fun, and burn tons of calories.
Tai Chi Hsing-I
artial art characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements performed with precision. Each instructor teaches

Vinyasa Yoga
