I am pleased to announce that the search and screen committee for a new Dean of the Robert Stempel
College of Public Health and Social Work has identified four finalists for in-person interviews on campus.
The entire university community is invited to participate in the interview process and attend open forums
which provide the opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their vision for the college and to ask
questions about their leadership and academic profile. The candidates are:
Tomas R. Guilarte, PhD

Richard G. Marlink, MD
Open forum: Week of May 11-15, exact date/time tba
Judy Schaechter, MD, MBA
Open forum: Week of May 11-15, exact date/time tba
Edward J. Trapido, ScD
Open forum: Week of May 11-15, exact date/time tba
The CVs of all candidates may be viewed here. Exact dates/times and locations for the respective open
forums will be posted on the Office of the Provost's website as they are finalized. As an additional option,
for individuals who will not be on campus on the respective days, we will make the open forums
available via video conference. Please visit the Office of the Provost's website where we will post
information on how to log on to the respective video conference session.
