Previously we have been meditating on the suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. -It was because of our hurts and healing that our Lord Jesus Christ was wounded. -Jesus’ heart was broken so that our heart could be made whole. (Psalm 147:3). He knows what it is to have a broken heart in that; When one of His disciples Judas betrayed Him (Mark 14:11). Have you been betrayed by a friend a spouse or family member? When Peter disowned Him (Mark 14:72.Have you been disowned in any way. When He was totally rejected and the crowd chose on Barabbas. Are you facing rejection of any kind? -In all these hurts, Jesus` mission was to redeem us from the evil. He lifted His voice, “Father forgive them….” ( Lk 23:34).We must also forgive those who hurts us because; When Jesus heals our pain, we receive the joy of the Lord. When we get our joy back we become strong in faith. We are free and not bitter again but better. Our light shines to others who are hurting us and we remain happy. -We should therefore give all our hurts to God. Also know our harvest of joy, blessing and prosperity is ahead of us and not behind. Don’t look back, Jesus is the Lord of our harvest! Prepared by the Vicar: Ven John S. Anzaya 1 INTRODUCTORY SENTENCE “…I am the resurrection and the life.
