LABORATORY MEDICINE OF TRANSPLANTATION
OBJECTIVES:
 Discuss and debate new and emerging research in the field of
transplantation research.
 Identify and describe new techniques and protocols to accuracy and
efficiency in diagnosing transplant infections and diseases.
 Identify the numerous health care professionals involved in the transplant
process and care of the transplant patient.
 Identify opportunities for collaboration with other disciplines throughout
the care continuum of the transplant patient.
 Interact with other healthcare professionals in addressing issues facing
researchers and professionals in the transplantation field.
