CDAA National Mentor Program 2015 Together we can succeed As an industry association we strive to support our members and our industry in as many ways as possible. One such way we have achieved this in Victoria is through the annual mentoring program. This program has been a resounding success year on year and has seen substantial benefits for our members; whether as a mentor or a mentee the feedback from previous participants has identified the establishment of strong friendships, development of professional alliances and a large degree of knowledge transfer (for both the mentor and mentee!) Globally mentor programs are seen as a great opportunity for all individuals involved with possible outcomes including:      Working in partnership with like-minded professionals can assist in addressing issues that previously have seen you with your head in the sand. Increases in industry alliances Increases in the level of professionalism Cross collaboration and knowledge transfer Increases in motivation and industry success Improvements in confidence and overall interest Apply NOW Registration for both the role of Mentor and Mentee are being sought NOW.  All applications will close April 24 2015  First round of partnerships proposed May 22nd  Program launches June 1 to November 15. A professional partnership is beneficial for both a mentor and mentee. Challenges can be addressed together resulting in benefits for both parties. Trusting & private environment The mentee is provided with a full program resource that helps them plan what they want to get from the program. The mentee is solely responsible for the planning of the program and will work with the mentor to schedule. As an association, we facilitate your partnerships however we trust in your professional relationship and do not get involved unless we are asked to support in some way. Mentee me! Becoming a mentee is easy and there is an extensive matching process that is undertaken by the facilitators. The cost to a mentee for the year is $145 however the small investment is quickly returned in such a program. Full Support The program is supported through a hierarchy of support representatives for both the mentors and mentees. The program has a number of pre-determined milestones and stages which are used to both assess the program as well as ensure that both the mentor and mentee are progressing throughout the program as planned.
