SUNBUTTER® FROSTING
1 quart plus 1 cup Creamy SunButter®
2 1/4 cups honey
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 lb plus 4 oz SunButter®
4 lbs powdered sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vanilla
About 1 cup of water

SUNBUTTER® DIP
Slowly mix SunButter®, honey and cinnamon until
creamy and smooth (about 5 minutes)
Cream SunButter® and combine with powdered
sugar and salt
Add vanilla and water slowly to desire thickness
This dip may be served with fruit, vegetables, pretzels
or spread on graham crackers
Spread on cooled bars, cake or cookies
Serving size: 2 tbsp
Yield: 50 servings

SUNBUTTER® APPLESAUCE COOKIES
SPECIAL K® BARS
3 lbs all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup dry milk
1 tsp salt
2 cups of soft butter
3 cups of SunButter®
1 cup applesauce
4 cups sugar
6 large eggs
2 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
Bring to boil and remove from heat
Combine flour, baking soda, dry milk and salt
Blend in Butter, SunButter®, applesauce, sugar,
eggs and vanilla
Portion with #40 scoop onto cookie sheets
Flatten cookies and bake until lightly browned
(about 10 minutes @ 350 0 in conventional oven
or about 6 minutes @ 300 0 in a convection oven)
Stir in 2 1/4 cups SunButter®
Add 10 cups Special K® cereal
Mix well
Pour into greased 11 1/2” x 17” pan
Press and cool before frosting
FROSTING
1 1/4 cups milk chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups butterscotch chips
Melt and spread over cooled bars

14 lbs powdered sugar
10 lbs SunButter® at room temperature
3 1/2 lbs crispy rice cereal
3 lbs margarine at room temperature
2 1/2 cups chocolate enrober
1 lb butter
1 lb sugar
1 lb dark brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 lb plus 2 oz SunButter®
1/2 cup roasted and ground sunflower kernel
5 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice
Mix margarine and SunButter® thoroughly
Add sugar and mix
Add cereal and mix
Divide into 4 sheet pans (18” x 24”) and roll evenly
Cover with thin layer of chocolate enrober
(follow directions on can for heating enrober)
Cut into 80 squares as soon as enrober loses its shine,
but before it hardens
Yield: 320 servings
Cream butter and sugars
Whisk eggs and add vanilla
Stir into butter and sugar mixture
Stir in SunButter®
Add rest of ingredients and blend well
Drop onto cookie sheet by tablespoon and bake
until brown (about 15 minutes @ 3500)
Cool before removing from sheet or frosting.
