Social Work
Social Work clock hours are pending for this program. Cincinnati Children’s
Hospital Medical Center is an approved provider of social work continuing
education credits by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage
and Family Therapist Board. (RSX069302)
Registration for the two-day course is $100. The course will be held
from 8am - 5pm each day. All instructional materials, continuing education
credits, continental breakfasts and snacks during breaks are included.
Lunch is not included.
Nursing
Contact hours will be awarded to nurses who attend the entire program and
complete an evaluation tool.
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (OH-046, 9/1/2015) is an
approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses
Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Course Goal
Using lectures, discussion and practice sessions, this course aims to prepare
clinicians and hemoglobinopathy counseling professionals to work effectively
with patients with hemoglobinopathies by increasing their knowledge of
hemoglobin variants.
