HOW ARE MODELS SELECTED?
Simply purchase a “Guaranteed Model Package” or a “Premium Model Package”
online while spots are still available.*
*Models must fit size 4 to 14 clothing for the show in April (Go to www.americangirl.com
for specific measurements).
*Models are required to attend one of six “Kick-off” parties where they will be measured by our
staff, enjoy treats,
Every girl must attend a “model call” to be considered (multiple model calls are held in
January at Cincinnati and northern Kentucky Toyota Dealerships). American Girl®
provides all of the clothing for the show and specific measurements for each outfit.
Models will be selected primarily based on measurement to ensure the best fit possible.
PLEASE understand that this is NOT A PAGEANT…selection is not based on talent or
looks…ONLY SIZE and in some cases, resemblance to the dolls according to each outfit
in the show. Our outfits range from size 4 to size 14 (American Girl sizes www.americangirl.com).
Please see “Another Opportunity to Participate” below to learn how every girl can be a
model this year!
Size 6x and smaller will model American Girl “Bitty Baby” clothing (not American
Girl “Doll” clothing) and do not need to resemble any of the dolls. These models will
be selected primarily on measurements. If your daughter is a size 6x or between sizes
and does not want to model “Bitty Baby” clothing please note this on her model call slip.
WHEN WILL SHOW MODELS BE SELECTED?
*All girls are being “selected” at this time as part of our “Guaranteed Modeling Spot”
offer. You can guarantee your little girl a spot by purchasing the model package online
now ($100 donation). This is a limited time offer. Log into your model’s online account
and “purchase the model package” to secure her spot as a show model. If you do not see
the link, the offer may no longer be available. *Please see “guaranteed model spots” for
more details. All other models are selected after our last model call and asked to raise
$100 in donations for the foundation in the following weeks. We do our best to select the
girls and update their online accounts within one week of the last model call. If she is
selected, her account will say “Congratulations…”, if she is not selected it will say “At
this time, all of our modeling spots in the show have been filled, we hope you will join us
as a VIP Guest this year…”
IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS SELECTED AS A SHOW MODEL

Models are required* to attend a fitting/photo shoot the weekend of March 6th - 8th
with a professional photographer. (Available dates & times can be accessed in your
model’s online account once selected.) At the fitting, the models will try on their
outfit and be photographed with the matching doll for the DVD Show Program. If
she misses the photo shoot she will not appear in the slide show program. No refunds
will be given. No Make-ups.
*Missing the fitting/photo shoot does not mean she can’t be in the show, however, we
can’t guarantee her outfit will fit the day of the show.

Model is required* to attend a rehearsal on Sunday, April 12th at Music Hall. (A.M.
or P.M. option). *Excused absences are acceptable.

Model will be backstage during the show so she does not need to purchase a ticket.
All parents, siblings and guests wanting to attend the show must purchase tickets in
advance. Some shows sell out very quickly!

The $100 Fashion Show Modeling Agreement: Since this is a fundraiser for the
Aubrey Rose Foundation, we require all selected models to satisfy a “model
agreement” of raising $100. The $100 must be turned in to secure her modeling spot
in the show. Show models/families can either “purchase the model package” online
or raise the $100 through personal donations. Models can begin securing donations
immediately after they register online for the model call. Once registered, her name
will appear in the drop-down model list on all purchase pages within the website.
Your model’s name must be selected before donations are made online so it will
apply to her fundraising efforts. ONLY “donations” may be applied to the $100
modeling agreement & therefore 100% tax deductible. “PURCHASES” (such as
show tickets & raffle tickets) may not be applied to the $100 modeling package.
The $100 Modeling Package includes:
 Twenty (20) raffle tickets (valued at $100) entered under the model’s name
for a chance to win one of several American Girl® prize packages. These
tickets are electronically generated under her name when the modeling
package is purchased online. You will see the printed tickets at the show.
Drawing to be held at the last show. View sample raffle items online.
 Professional photo shoot with John Casablanca's Modeling and Career
Agency plus one 4” x 6” photo. (additional photos on CD available for
purchase)
 Her photo shoot picture will appear in the Model Slideshow which runs before
and after each show.
 Modeling spot in the American Girl Fashion Show. (Models will borrow the
clothing and dolls on loan to us from American Girl® Programs for the photo
shoot and show. The clothing and dolls remain the property of American Girl
Programs®.
Another Opportunity to Participate – Be a “VIP Guest” Model
Girls not selected as “show models” this year can still participate in the fashion show by
walking the runway at intermission as a VIP Guest. VIP Guest Models are guaranteed a
“show model” spot next year (must meet age & size requirements). Limited space is
available.
The $100 VIP Guest Package includes:
 Show Ticket ($40 value) with option to upgrade & purchase additional
“VIP”seating (while supplies last).
 Opportunity to walk the runway at intermission as our Emcee shares fun facts
provided by you with our audience (see sample runway profile).
 Professional photo shoot (March 6th, 7th and 8th). VIP must be registered by
March 6th.
 4"x 6" photo from photo shoot.
 Models can walk with their own dolls or borrow one of ours!
 Exclusive American Girl Fashion Show souvenir T-shirt. Model can wear her
own current American Girl clothing or the souvenir t-shirt.
 Guest Model Certificate of participation.
VIP Guest Packages are available to girls and boys age 4-13. You must register your
child online prior to purchasing this package. After purchasing the package you will be
asked to complete the “Runway Profile”.
VIP Guests should check in at the VIP Registration Table 30 minutes before the show.
You will receive your t-shirt & further instructions upon arrival.
FUNDRAISING CONTEST
Join the Aubrey Rose Fundraising Team to help make a
difference in a child’s life and win fabulous prizes!
WHERE TO START
Join the fundraising competition for a chance to win some fantastic prizes such as a “Day at
American Girl Place®” in Chicago or Columbus, a VIP Guest package to the fashion show or an
American Girl® doll! Any girl between the ages of 4 and 13 can participate even if they are not a
model in this year’s show. Just register on the American Girl Fashion Show website
(www.aubreyrose.org) and her name will appear in the "drop-down" model list on all purchase pages
within the website. Make sure everything turned in includes the first & last name of the
model/fundraiser to ensure fundraising credit.
Check the fundraising total in her online account to keep track of fundraising success. (Updates
made weekly.) Most importantly, have fun!
HOW TO RAISE MONEY
1). Sell Sponsorships/Advertising. This is an easy way to raise the money while offering
people/companies something valuable in return. Available online or contact us directly.
2). Sell Show tickets & tables. IT’S REALLY EASY…just send people to
www.aubreyrose.org to buy their tickets or tables and tell them to select your name from
the drop-down menu.

3). Sell Raffle Tickets. Send people to www.aubreyrose.org, click on the Fashion Show
logo and ask them to select your model’s name from the drop-down menu OR contact
Nancy Hollenkamp at [email protected] to request tickets by mail.
4). Solicit Silent Auction Items. This is another great way for local businesses, small &
large to have a presence at the event without sponsorship. Please see donor form for
details. 100% of the auction item value will be applied to overall fundraising. The event
staff reserves the right to accept or reject items. Items requiring a purchase will not be
accepted (eg. discounts & buy one-get one free offers).
5). In-kind donations. We are looking for the following donations to reduce expenses:

FUNDRAISING PRIZES

First Place FUNDRAISER:
It’s your little girl’s dream come true! Enjoy a special day for two at the American Girl
Place® in Chicago or Columbus. A meal in the café, souvenirs, spending money & more!
(Value: $250) OR $250 in American Girl merchandise. Order must be placed through Nancy
Hollenkamp within 2 weeks of the show.
(min. $2,500 fundraising monetary value to qualify)
Example: $550 table + $500 raffle tickets +$1,550 monetary donations = Qualifies.
Example: $550 table + $1,500 in auction item(s) or other "in-kind" donations = Does Not
Qualify.
Second Place FUNDRAISER:
Your little girl will be a true shining star when she is recognized as our VIP Guest in next
year's Cincinnati American Girl Fashion Show. She will receive 4 tickets to the show of her
choice, VIP Guest Package & doll of her choice (min. $500 monetary value to qualify)
Third Place FUNDRAISER:
Your little girl will receive an American Girl Doll of her choice! (min. $500 monetary value
to qualify)
Top RAFFLE TICKET SALES:
The girl who sells the most raffle tickets by April 12th, 2015 will receive an American Girl Doll
of her choice!* (min. $500 monetary value to qualify)
*In the event the raffle ticket sales winner has already qualified for one of the top 3 overall prizes, then the next
highest girl will be awarded this prize.
Top AUCTION ITEM WINNER :
The girl who brings in the most auction items by April 12th, 2015 will receive the gift of hosting
the American Girl Fashion Show VIP After-Party with “Young Anna” Livvy Stubenrauch. She
will get an autographed picture of Young Anna as well as her own photo shoot with Livvy as
they walk the runway at the VIP After Party. This winner will also be featured on the AGFS
Facebook Page.
Raise $300
Souvenir t-shirt – Every girl who raises a minimum of $300 (monetary value) by April 12th
will receive a unique souvenir t-shirt (not available for purchase).
Raise $1,000
WALL OF FAME! - Models raising $1,000 or more by April 12th will have their picture
featured on the American Girl Fashion Show/ARF website Wall of Fame page for the entire
year, their picture will be on the big screen at each of the shows, they will be featured on the
AGFS Facebook page and they will be introduced at their show as a Wall of Fame model.
COLLECTION OF MONEY
All money must be turned in no later than April 12th to qualify for prizes.
