The Animaga Expo- Animation , Mango, and Game Expo is a Japanese Pop-Culture convention . This
event will be held in the late Q3 of every year in Melbourne.
The Animaga Team consist of a team of Anime lovers and we aim to bring a world class display of
Anime and Mango to the public and at the same time present a range of fan-driven interactive
conventions in a convenient and central location.
This includes the hottest games, Japanese fashion and pop culture . Animaga Expo is not only a
convention . We aim at developing a Japanese anime culture in Australia . We encourage art
development and are able to create platforms for you to advertise and promote your business as well
as products in Australia.
We invite you to join us and contribute to the development of the Japanese Pop Culture in Australia.
Animaga Expo will be held in one of Australia's most
historic venues, The Royal Exhibition Building . This
venue is conveniently located just at the north of the
CBD, and it is next to the Melbourne Museum .

Melbourne Museum and Carlton Gardens is well
served no matter how you intend to arrive.
A short walk from the Melbourne CBD makes it easy
for students while the Melbourne Museum
undercover car park engages families to the
Animaga Event.

Photography, with beautiful gardens and unique

professional cosplayers and photographers.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
By applying for exhibitor/vendor/artist' alley space at Cancellation by Exhibitor
Animaga Expo 2015 events, you , your staff, your business or Exhibitors may cancel out of the convention at any given

7. All tables must have tablecloth covers , and it is the
exhibitor's responsibility to prepare extra sheets to cover your
stock on occasions where overnight storage is required.
8.Sale or sampling of any food or beverage items- whether
packaged or fresh -is not allowed without written permission
from the Event Organiser and Venue. This includes but is not
limited to candy or sweets, canned drinks, hot or baked
goods. Animaga reserves the right to confiscate any
consumable items not removed by exhibitors. All food
Exhibitor must apply the food license from the Streatrader
(https:/ /streatrader.health .vic .gov .au/public_siteand )
and
send the license back to Animaga before 1st August 2015.
9. There is no access for vehicles drive into the venue to
unload or pack your items. Please arrange your own trolley or
pallet trolleys to move your stock into the venue. You must
make arrangements with Animaga
management team
before the event for the movement of larger items. crates
and pallets.
10. Any damage caused by an Exhibitor or their Staff, or by
items affixed to the venue doors, glass, floors etc will create a
removal. cleaning and/or resurfacing cost charged to the
exhibitor.
11. Neither Animaga , nor the Royal Exhibition Building (REB)
will accept responsibility for the safety or wellbeing of any
display or product item delivered to the site. It is very
important that all items are clearly marked with your
company name and booth number(s). Neither Animaga nor
the venue will take delivery of such items on behalf of an
Exhibitor. unless prior arrangements have been made as per
the Royal Exhibition Building's terms and conditions . Please
note that all goods/property must be removed from the
premises Sunday evening.
Cancellation by Organiser
If vendor fails to make a payment required by this
contract in a timely manner. Animaga may terminate this
contact immediately without further notice and without
obligation to refund monies previously paid . Animaga
reserves the right at its discretion to refuse Exhibitor
permission tp move in and set up an exhibit of Exhibitor is
in arrears of any payment due to Animaga. Animaga is
expressly authorized to occupy or dispose of any space
vacated or made available by reason of action taken
under this paragraph in such manner as it may deem
best, and without releasing Exhibitor from any liability
hereunder. Animaga may also terminate this contact
effective upon written notice of termination if Exhibitor
breaches any of its obligations under the contract
without any obligations, expressed or implied, on
Animaga's part to refund any payments previously made
and without releasing Exhibitor removes or restricts an
exhibit which Animaga considers to be objectionable or
inappropriate, no refund will be due Exhibitor.
Occupational health & safety
1. Stallholders are responsible in providing a safe working
environment in and around their space not only during
setup times , but also during event operating times in
accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
2. All entries to the venue must have high visibility during
bump-in and bump-out time, under the OH&S
requirement of Royal Exhibition Building .
3. Closed-toed footwear must be worn throughout the
whole event include the bump-in and bump-out time.
Electricity and power
1. All electronic appliances, lighting or equipment with
power connection that is I will be used on Animaga must
be tested and tagged by qualified electrician. in
accordance with state Workplace Health and Safety
Regulations and Australian Standard 3760-2000.
It is advisable that all electrical items and leads are tested
and tagged by your nominated electrician prior to the
event. Animaga cannot guarantee that Test & Tag
services will be available on site. If any electrical
equipment found to be untagged , the Animaga
management reserves the rights to ask for test and tag or
remove untagged items from the venue .

Public liability insurance
Sale of Weapons
1. All exhibitors and traders are required to provide proof of
public liability and property insurance. This applies to damage
or injury to any person or properties cause by any accident.
Traders or exhibitors MUST send their copies o f certifica tes o f
cu rren cy for insurance policies , with a minimum cover o f
$1 Omillion to Ani mag a at least one week prior to the event or
w ith your application form. It is advisable that a copy is held by
the exhibitor throughout the duration of the show. including
bump in and bum o ut times.
1. Any weapon classified as a 'Sc hedule 1 Prohibited
Weapon' (under the Weapons Prohibition Act 1998) is not
allowed to be so ld , displayed or brought in to the event or
in and around the event venue.
2. The sale o f any of th e follow in g must include instructions
(labels on packaging supported by verba l instruction) to
the purchaser that they are not to open from packaging
until home :
A. Live blades or knives
B. Firearms
C. BB or 'Air Guns' (even w ith out caps).
D. Dangerous or concea led spikes or studs
E. Martial arts weapons
F. Replica weapons
3.Animaga attendees are under no c ircumstan ce
permitted to possess any actual weapons, unless sealed
Damages and additional costs
1.Any and all damages caused to th e Venue, Equipment,
Furniture whether intentional or unintentionally inflicted by the
Trad ers or Exhibitors, sha ll be passed on themselves. Th ose
traders or exhibitors will be billed accordingly.
Animaga w ill advise the extent of the damage after
consu ltation w ith the Royal Exh ibition Building management
team. Animaga reserves the rights to in cur cost of damages to Failure to comply w ith these restrictions and guidelines

Restricted Material
1.Animaga is a famil y friendl y event. Adult material can be so ld
but not allowed for display, as long as appropriate cloaking
device is in place to prevent access by underaged eyes. Any
form of illegal pornography is absolutely prohibited and w ill be
dealt with severely. All sales must be accompanied by request
for proof of age.
2. Playing/displaying adult-themed animation or live film at the
event is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with warn in gs wi ll
result in removal from the Exhibitor' s Area , revocation o f
Exh ibitor status and forfeiture of Exh ibitor Fees.
Bootleg or Unlicensed Materials are not allowed to sa le
throughou t the event. If any restricted , illegal or contraband
materials are found, will be ask to remo ve these materials from
the event. This may include the cessation of your trading and
expulsion from Animaga .
Weapon Policy
For the general well being and sa fety of all Animaga patrons
and workers. weapons, imitation weapons (replicas ) and props
must be displayed and so ld under the follow ing Rules. In
addition. all Animaga attendees must comply w ith all Federal .
State and loca l laws and Regulations regarding weapons.

It is mandatory for all exhibitors who sell, display or demonstrate
weapons of any kind to show this policy in a clearly visible
loca tion w ithin their exhibition space. Display of Weapons

2. All weapons and large props or replicas, including wooden,
metal and Cosplay swords are to be displayed in cabinets or
ra cks wh ich must be generally inaccessible to public.
3. 1tems must not be able to be removed from the sa le or display
area w ithout the express knowledge and interven tion of the
exhibitor.
