School Arrival Counts this Week
The Farmington Safe
Routes to school committee will be doing arrival
counts at Apache Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday
this week. There will be
members of this committed
noting how students get to
school—Walk, bike, bus, or
car. This information is
helpful as they design programs for our school.
Safe Routes to School is a national and international movement to create safe, convenient, and fun opportunities for
children to bicycle and walk to
and from schools. The program has been designed to
reverse the decline in children
walking and bicycling to
schools.
