Nancy O’Malley is group executive, chief payment system integrity officer at MasterCard. In this capacity, she leads the
development and execution of global strategies for marketplace safety and security. These activities include efforts to develop
global fraud strategy, invention and innovation in fraud products and solutions, safety and security information and education, and
provide thought leadership for industry advancement in safety and security.
Prior to joining MasterCard, Ms. O’Malley was vice president of Asset Recovery for Security Service Federal Credit Union, where
she served as the senior officer responsible for collections, recovery, and loss mitigation operations.
In addition to serving in an executive capacity with Security Service Federal Credit Union, Ms. O’Malley built her career at USAA
Federal Savings Bank, serving in a number of roles including vice president and executive director of Accounts Services, vice
president of Collections, Recovery & Fraud Control and assistant vice president and Banking Counsel.
Ms. O’Malley’s early career was devoted to the creation of a successful software company that developed into one of the leading
providers of loan origination software for financial institutions in the United States.
Ms. O’Malley is a past chairman of the American Bar Association Retail Banking Subcommittee. In this capacity, she provided
thought leadership and advice to colleagues, financial institutions, regulators and legislators on key issues impacting the financial
services industry.
Ms. O’Malley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and a J.D. from the University of Denver, College of
Law. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and Colorado.
