Dear Industry Partners Members,
As you begin looking at your budget and marketing needs for 2015, the Pennsylvania West Chapter of the
American Society of Interior Designers is proud to announce the Industry Partner Sponsorship Program
that will provide your company with a full year of marketing opportunities.
It is only with the ongoing support of our Industry Partners that we are able to have such wonderful
events that we have had this past year. To highlight some of the key events we hosted our Bi-Annual
Trade show at the Heinz History center featuring over 55 displays showing the latest and greatest products
and services available to the Interior Design community. The same day we hosted our annual Career Day
that drew more than 80 students from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Chatham University, La Roche
College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Mercyhurst University.
Our first CEU of the year was graciously hosted at Don’s Appliance and we learned the new technology of
the steam oven. The food by Chef Anthony accompanied the wine and networking oh so well.
The highlight of the year was our 10th Annual Holiday Luncheon at the Duquesne Club. It was a sold out
event with over 230 design professionals in attendance. Senator Kim Ward was presented with the
Leadership Award in recognition of her continued support of the Interior Design profession in the State of
Pennsylvania.
The membership committee has been busy with starting a new tradition of holding Emerging Professional
& Membership Happy Hour events at local showrooms. The events are free to attendees and it provides a
great opportunity to network, give exposure to our industry partners/chapter sponsors by hosting events at
their showrooms which enables design professionals to learn about their scope of services. Another
wonderful aspect of the happy hours is that we have the host of the event choose a charity to benefit,
which has been extremely successful. Our first event was hosted at Eisaman Contract Associates and had
over 40 people in attendance with contributions made to Military Connections. Our second event was
hosted at burke+MICHAEL and benefitted Beverly’s Birthdays.
As an Industry Partner Sponsor, your company name will be in front of the Interior Design Community on a
regular basis. Our Partners are committed, engaged and invested in the association and promote the
cooperative spirit of the Industry . The new program has four levels of sponsorship, as outlined on the
Industry Partner Sponsorship Program Benefits form.
The Pennsylvania West Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers is also providing you with
the means for Advertising your company up to 5 times throughout the year through the Quarterly
Newsflash and our Membership Directory.
