We
welcome you to the ASID CA Peninsula Chapter Design Awards Competition.
As with last year, the 2015 Design Awards Competition will only be submitted in
a digital format. By requiring the information to be electronic, the Entry Format has been
designed to be both environmentally friendly and cost efficient.
We encourage all ASID CA Peninsula Chapter members to enter the 2015 ASID CA Peninsula
Chapter Design Awards Competition. This is an excellent opportunity to gain recognition
for your hard work, make your designs the benchmark of the industry, and inspire a new
generation of emerging professionals.
We are excited to announce a new category for Emerging Professionals!

Allied or Associate member and will be entered by
that member in the COMMUNITY SERVICE
category with all students acknowledged.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
• Current members - Members with dues paid up to date as of the date of entry.
• ASID Professional, Allied and Associate Members, ASID Industry Partner Members, and ASID Student Members.
• ASID Professional, Allied and Associate Members may enter all categories except:
Best Use of Product and Student.
• ASID Industry Partner Members may enter the following categories only:
Charles H. Falls, ASID, Memorial Award and Best Use of Product.
• ASID Student Members may enter the Student category only.
(Note: Participating ASID Student Members will be noted on Community Service Category
submitted by ASID Professional, Allied or Associate Member.)
• ASID Emerging Professional, Allied ASID member; 5 or less years only. (Note: Emerging Professional’s; 5 or less
years, may optionally choose to enter as an Allied member but may not enter both categories.
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
• Entries receiving previous publicity are eligible.
• Projects must have been completed no earlier than January 1, 2009
• Designer may enter a previously submitted project, if it did not receive an ASID design award in the category being
entered, and is resubmitted with additional materials, including different or new photos, concept statement, etc.
• More than one project may be submitted.
• You may submit parts of a project in several categories OR you may submit the entire project as a whole,
(Example: SFR>3000 S. F. or BATH) BUT NOT BOTH. The exception is Specialty and Sustainable/Universal
which may be submitted separately and as a whole project.
• Failure to fulfill all requirements necessary for submission may result in disqualification.
• No fees will be refunded.
Awards:
• Winning entry awards will be presented to current ASID California Peninsula Chapter members only.
• Prizes awarded in each category will be at the discretion of the judges.
• Publishing magazine reserves the right to select all photos for publication.
Digital Entry Requirements:
• By requiring all information to be electronic, the Entry Format has been designed to be both environmentally
friendly and cost efficient.
• As part of their submission, entrants must submit their digital files either by uploading to “Dropbox”
(see instructions) or on a CD, DVD or USB Flash Drive. No CD’s, DVD’s, or USB Flash Drives will be
returned to the entrants at the conclusion of the 2015 Design Awards.

All images must be 8” X 10” AND “2 x 2.25” in 300 dpi digital .jpeg format only.
For publication purposes, only digital images are being accepted this year.
Digital images must be 300 dpi – in .jpg– uploaded to “Dropbox” or stored on CD, DVD, or USB Flash Drive
and easily transferable for publication.
Professional photographs or professional quality photographs may be used.
ENTRY FEE
• ASID Professional, Allied, Associate, IP members
$160.00 first entry – first entry fee includes one Design Award Gala Event ticket.
$ 60.00 each additional entry
• ASID Student members
$ 80.00 first entry – first entry fee includes one Design Award Gala Event ticket.
$ 30.00 each additional entry

The entrant, for publication purposes, must clear all photographs with
the photographer and client. Awards will only be issued to winning ASID
CA Peninsula Chapter Members in good standing. Winning entries will be
notified in advance of the Design Award Celebration Event. Winners will
be published in LUXE INTERIORS + DESIGN Magazine.
