COVE LIGHT
DESCRIPTION
Atex Cove Light is a sleek, low profile fixture
that cleanly installs in virtually any soffit,
cove, or niche. Available in two lengths and
three color temperatures, the Cove Light uses
very little energy to apply smooth indirect
lighting effects where many traditional lighting sources cannot fit.

COV-AC-CBL

fixtures to a power supply or contractor provided cable. White or red
cable is (+) positive. Black cable is
(-) negative.

INSTALLATION
! WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Disconnect all power before installing products.
If using tape to install product, be sure surface is free of
dust, oils, or moisture that might interfere with adhesive.
Adhesive tape is intended for permanent installation and
might damage surface if removed.
Leave slack in wires between connected fixtures. Do not
stress or place tension on connectors or wires entering the
fixtures.
When connecting tail wire to power supply or branch cable (supplied by others), be sure to connect red or white
wire to positive (+) and black wire to negative (-). Miswiring can damage product and void warranty.
Allow for air flow between fixture and surrounding walls
or other building materials. Ambient temperatures must
remain between -10° and 55° C (14° and 131° F).
BRACKET • MOUNTING EARS
Position fixture in desired location in your project environment. Locate adhesive tape on back of fixture and mark
spots on surface. Center brackets on marks and secure to
the surface with screws (provided by others). Peel backing
from back of adhesive. Center adhesive over bracket. Apply
even pressure on fixture until it snaps into bracket and top
latches secure fixture in place.
BRACKET • LINEAR MOUNTING
The mounting ears on the bracket can be removed with
wire snips or sharp scissors if necessary. With the ears removed, the bracket can be secured to the mounting surface
through the screw holes provided in the center. NOTE: The
center adjustable piece of the bracket can be rotated to
its limit in one direction and slid out of the base to give
you more room to install the bracket if required. Reverse
the process to re-insert the adjustable piece into the bracket.
TAPE MOUNTING
Position fixture in desired location in your project environment. Locate adhesive tape on back of fixture. Peel off
backing of adhesive. Apply even pressure on fixture to
secure it to the mounting surface.
VERTICAL MOUNTING
Use an L-shaped bracket (supplied by others) to secure fixtures to
a wall.
