Newsletter 015
19th March 2015
Dear Parents,
As I am sure you are aware, there is a partial solar eclipse taking
place tomorrow morning, 9.31 a.m., Friday 20th March.
The moon will be passing in front of the sun. This is not a
complete eclipse but very close. As the eclipse progresses it
should become cold and dark like a normal twilight and birds
should stop singing. As it is dangerous to look directly at the sun
at any time, we have decided that we will not be going outside
to view the eclipse but will show it on the screens in the
classroom and of course discuss the light changes that can be
observed through the windows.

This is Daisy May Summerhayes – I am running the Brighton
Marathon on Sunday 12th April 2015 to help raise money to pay
towards the treatment Daisy needs. She is unable to sit without
help, crawl or walk and has severe learning difficulties.
Donations can be given using the details opposite or my Just
Giving Page – http://www.justgiving.com/alice-landragin1
If you would like to make a
donation – however small, the
Summerhayes family and I would
be very grateful.
Thank you for your support.
