Fellowship Friday, an Energizers outreach ministry,
provides a loving, welcoming and fun environment for
family members with mild to moderate memory loss
who do not require skilled care. This program, a partnership between Interfaith CarePartners and BCUMC, is
designed to give caregivers some much needed time
away. The next Fellowship Friday will be June 12,
10:00am-1:30pm, in the Fellowship Hall. The theme will
be Father’s Day and entertainer/organist Jim Connors
will perform. Call Dot McLaren at 713.466.1898, or Joyce

service will launch our Independence Day Celebration at

HNwCC Food Pantry (Karen’s Place) has fresh produce!
Houston Northwest Community Center will be sponsoring a Community Food Fair through the HNwCC food pantry located at the back of
the church parking lot. We will have a large refrigerated truck delivered by the Houston Food Bank filled with produce and other refrigerated items on the third Saturday of every month. The three summer dates are June 20, July 18 and August 15. People in our community in need of assistance will be able to receive this food from 9:0011:00am. If you would like to volunteer to help in registration, unloading the truck and distributing the food, we could use your help. We
will need our volunteers to arrive by 8:15am. If you can come and help
please let us know by emailing [email protected].
MOPS is a group of women with children 5 years
old and younger, who share a love for their families
and enjoy fellowship with other moms going through
the same (although very brief) journey in life. MOPS
meets the second and fourth Mondays of every
month (during the school year), 9:30-11:30am, in the
Fellowship Hall, with a great MOPPETS program in the
Family Life Center KidZone Nursery. They will meet
again for the regularly scheduled meetings when the
new school year starts in August! Email Amber Bowers, [email protected] with any questions.

Boundaries of Worship
Sundays
5-7 PM
Youth Lounge
Join us for Youth @ 5 this summer as we push the boundaries of our understanding and definition of what it
means to worship God.
God is waiting for our worship-in the moments we
expect to see him and feel him, and in the
moments we least expect him. God is calling us to himself, calling us to love him and love others, and calling us
to CONNECT with him.
