College/University Shirt Days
In the spirit of Habit #2: Begin With The End In Mind,
Bellamy students will be allowed to wear a shirt/jersey for
the college/university they would like to attend on the 2nd
Friday of every month with their uniform bottoms or jeans if
they have earned that incentive. The last College/University

Community Discipline Data Chat
We will be having a Community Discipline Data Chat at

Bellamy on April 29 at 5:00 p.m. We will be presenting the
school wide Behavior Plan as well reviewing our referral
data for the year. We would love to have our families come
and learn about our School Wide Plan and how our behavior
system works at Bellamy.
Bellamy Night at Chick-fil-A
Join us on Thursday, May 7 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the
Chick-fil-A restaurant on West Waters Avenue. It’s Bellamy
Night and Chick-fil-A will donate 20% of ALL ticketed sales
between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. to our school!

State Testing Dates
All first, second, third, fourth and fifth grade students in
Florida will be tested in reading and mathematics and fifth
grade students will also be tested in science on the FCAT
(Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test). Our students

will take the test March 2 -April 28 . The teachers have
been working hard all year teaching your child the skills they
need to use during testing. Our students are ready to
“SHOW US WHAT THEY KNOW”. Now we need your help!
 Please do not schedule any doctor or dentist
appointments during testing.
 Make sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep
before the test.
 Make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast.
 Make sure your child arrives at school on time.
 Express your support and your confidence that your
child will do well on their standardized test.
Acceleration 2015-2016 School Year
“Parents/guardian requests for single subject acceleration or
whole grade acceleration are due in writing to the principal
by May 4, 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year.
