Kunstfabrik Schlot - European Union National Institutes for Culture

EUNIC Berlin präsentiert das
2. My Unique Jazz Festival
My Unique
Jazz Festival“.
„Blue Note of Europe.

GOMME DE JOUR sails in different musical styles and ambiances suggested by Jukič‘s compositions and balances between freedom in form and

has taken him to many countries and can be heard on over 60 records.
The common language of the trio is jazz, but Jukič‘s compositions combined with the broadness of every individual takes the music to another

productive cooperation materialized with the recording of two albums:

Underneath it´s not always what it seems. Life is ugly, life is beautiful
and so is the music that expresses it. Dark sounds and pure melodies,
angel like and brutal. The musicians born in the 60‘s, 70‘s and 80‘s are
influenced by different styles: jazz, rock and avant-garde. David´s Angels
debut album “Substar” was released in 2010 and in Spring 2013 they
released their second album “What it Seems”, which was very well received by both audience and reviewers. In the major Swedish newspaper
DN, Johannes Cornell writes in his review of the CD that David´s Angels is
trendsetting in European jazz today.
