Fire Prevention
Every summer, we observe a “Fire Prevention Week” to remind everyone to be very
careful in order to prevent fire from breaking out.
However, more fires break out during the observance of “Fire Prevention Week” than
any other week of the year. We never learn. We don’t mind the dangers and destruction
to life and properties caused by fire unless we are ourselves the victims.
Lack of concern and carelessness have been some of the most common causes of fire.
It was observed that people lack discipline and that is why we have this problem. We
don’t follow all precautions and leave the gas stove on when not in use or delay the
repair of an open electrical wiring. Another cause is arson, or the act of intentionally
setting on fire a house and any property that often results in the death of innocent
people. It is because they want to collect the insurance of the property after burning it.
We need not wait for any especial day or week to appeal to everyone to pay more
attention to fire prevention.

Every summer, there is an event called “Fire Prevention Week” which serves as a reminder for people to
remember the causes and effects of fires, so that they can prevent them from happening. There are
many causes for fires, for example, arson. Arson is the intentional act of producing a fire that can spread
and burn a property. The motive is the insurance money that is collected after the damage has been
produced. But some of the most common causes are the lack of concern and carelessness.
