A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon completion of the course. Many people find marketing challenging. Others may be comfortable with this task, but find it difficult to promote a service that consumers either do not fully understand or do not see the need for. This workshop aims to provide the necessary insights and enthusiasm to those who wish to begin their mediation marketing, or reignite the flame of past attempts. As individuals we are each capable of piecing together our own patchwork quilt of experiences individual elements that, when placed together, help us to create a marketable package. One person’s marketing success will not be another’s, because we each have different styles, attributes and experiences. These differences can and should be embraced when marketing our services. CANCELLATION POLICY There is a restriction on numbers at all Dispute Resolution Centre training workshops. Most courses are filled quickly. Registrations are accepted only if and when payment is actually received. The Centre reserves the right to cancel courses where there are insufficient enrolments. A 50% cancellation fee will be applied when participants cancel workshop reservations fewer than 15 business days prior to the beginning of a workshop. If 5 working days or less is given, then no refund will be given. DRC cannot be responsible for nonrefundable travel and accommodation arrangements. Mediation requires trust and rapport to be built with clients, and there will be certain attempts that will work better than others to achieve this result. This workshop presents a unique opportunity to capitalize on the creative energy in the room, to develop new strategies, and to connect with fellow mediators (who can be resources rather than competitors).
