Brilliant Grammar High Schools have emerged in response to a need for quality education. It is highly holistic in the realms of academic
and non academic fields to bring excellence out of every child with a dynamic infuse of new vistas of knowledge. It is using state of the
art technology to meet the challenges of a changing world of technology to succeed and exceed.
Brilliant has a glorious history of 28 years in education field. It was established in the year 1986 at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. Since its
inception it has been putting great efforts to develop the vision of knowledge, social outlook and all round development of students. It
has excellent support from expert and eminent staff, tech supported education in well furnished class rooms, computer labs, language
labs, library using Audio visual aids in digital classrooms.
Brilliant touched new heights under the dynamic leadership of the chairman, Sri Kasireddy Narayan Reddy. His sagacious outlook and deep
insight into the future needs of education made him come out with an entirely new concept ‘TARGET IIT/TARGET MBBS Foundation course
for the first time in India in 1997 to meet the growing need for doctors and engineers globally. This opened new vistas of knowledge for
students who made great strides into state ranks year after year. Many got into IIT and medical streams. He is honoured with many awards.

The excellent academics coupled with wonderful all round personality development programmes to bring out the best from

three Engineering colleges MBA and Pharmacy colleges at a sprawling 50 acre campus at Abdullapur near Ramoji Film City.
The academic year 2013 - 2014 witnessed a sensational launching of Brilliant IIT Academy for intermediate education and e -Techno
Olympiad Schools with an AC campus and Hostel in Dilsukhnagar.
Education unfolds the innate talent of a child in an enterprising
and caring atmosphere of a school. It is very important for every
one to realize that the purpose of a school is to provide every
spade needed to bring out the competitive spirit in a child before

important and vital. I strive to provide each student a diverse

supported by study hours after the school. Highly experienced
faculty supervises to clear doubts and pay individual attention
to slow learners. This brought tremendous success in SSC public
examinations where even a below average student could pass in
distinction.
The MONTESSORI HOUSE is planned with great care. The long
standing teachers are highly experienced to bring the best out
of a child. High standards are established for a lifelong learning
through play way method in natural environment. The teachers
are specially trained to teach through Montessori equipment
which brings the latent creativity in a child at a formative age.
The pre-primary, primary and upper primary students are taught
through the best teaching practices. All the teachers are trained
and updated through the workshops from time to time to sharpen
their skills to bring the best out of the child.
It is at the back my mind all the time that we could not produce
many IlTians from our state. It is surprising that parents, teachers
and students do their best but they don’t find their name in
the list devastating every one. I realized that coaching for these
competitive courses through two years of Intermediate was not
just sufficient. They need some more training in the fundamentals
of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. To bridge the
gap I launched for the first time in India in 1997 the concept of
Integrated course TARGET IIT/TARGET MBBS right from VIII class
onwards. Six sets of study material is prepared by experts in the
field. The material is being revised and updated based on the
syllabus of competitive examinations. This brought tremendous
intellectual growth and excellence in every student in achieving
state ranks year after year.
In tune with the popular demand we opened branches in
Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Karimnagar, Adilabad,
Nizamabad districts where we are providing quality education
setting excellent standards by providing education through
computers, digital classes using smart boards, projectors and
audio visual aids. For greater understanding of the concepts
science labs and language labs are established.
We brought revolutionary change to the examination pattern
bringing grading system into evaluation with formative &
summative assesments. This removed unhealthy competition for
a child to get topslot.
The growing demand for techno education made us launch
e-Techno and Olympiad schools and Brilliant IIT Academy for
intermediate education in 2013 with an AC campus and hostel at
Dilshuknagar. Now we have 64 branches all over Telangana region.
BRILLIANT is not just academics oriented but also gives great
encouragement and coaching in games and sports like chess,
badminton, volley ball, basket ball, kho-kho etc where our children
won laurels in national and international levels. To develop the all
round growth we conduct many activities like quiz, debates and
elocutions every week where the child is encouraged to come
forward and speak.
To bridge the gap between the demand for tech Graduates at
higher education levels & scarcity of industry ready engineers we
started three ENGINEERING, MBA and PHARMACY colleges on a
sprawling 50 acre campus at Abdullapur near Ramoji Film city.

Methodology
In present day’s changing trends of education, there is tremendous

Brilliant Montessori House
Brilliant’s pre-school curriculum is based on Montessori method. It is an
educational approach characterised by an emphasis on independence,
freedom within limits & respect for a child’s natural psycological, physical &
social development.
Taking the IQ level of the child of age group 2 ½ yrs, the play way method
conceptualized as Montessori method has been giving encouraging
results. BRILLIANT MONTESSORI HOUSE adopted the new trends of
teaching and coaching where learning takes place through fun and frolic.
In BMH, students are admitted according to their age groups and
are graded into M1, M2 & M3. The minimum age for the admission
into M1 is 2 ½ yrs. Admission procedure for M1, M2 & M3 takes place
during Feb / March of every year.
Each class is made up of a group of 25 students and sufficient tools
are provided for them in the process of learning. The M2 & M3 are
more exposed to the educational tools and are asked to do a number
of minor tasks. They are made to get involved in learning Rhymes,
Numbers, Alphabets in English, Telugu, Hindi and conversational
practice in English.

Academics & Curriculum
The curriculum at Brilliant is planned in such a way that it uses cutting edge technologies to make
learning interesting for children along with extra inputs, content & resources. The school follows CBSE
syllabus till 5th class and from 6th to 10th AP state syllabus is followed along with integrated Foundation
coaching in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and biology for ISEET and NEET for IIT(JEE) and medicine which
integrates CBSE & ICSE syllabi from 8th to 10th classes.
Brilliant Play School
The Subjects taught at the Pre -Primary school
level include English, Mathematics, Environmental
Studies, Story Telling, Rhymes Telugu and Hindi
(two languages), Moral Science and Drawing. All
languages are taught with a balanced emphasis on
four components the reading, listening, writing and
speaking aspects as well.

and Social Studies, and encompasses what we
believe a child should be aware of at every age.
A pre-primary Saturday activities booklet is prepared
with an emphasis on activity-based learning. The
activities include the use of audio-visual aids in a
digital class rooms on a smart board, art & craft work,
mind mapping, experiments, field trips, projects and

Primary School (I to V)
Subjects taught at the Primary school level include

Studies, First and Second languages ( Telugu and
Hindi) with English as Third Language and Moral

All students from Class 1 to IX have computers as
a subject. The aim is to ensure that by the time the
child graduates from the school, they will have a
working knowledge of word processing, multimedia
and simple graphics Ms office and C language.
All exercises on the computer are correlated with
the lessons taught in class in order to enhance the
children’s understanding of the various subjects.
Apart from the theory covered in the computer
science portions, students are given extensive
practical training. This includes a more rigorous
understanding of spreadsheets, database
management, graphics, internet and basic
programming. Several projects are also assigned by
subject teachers, which have to be completed using
the computer by the students in our well equipped
computer labs.
Abacus
High School (VIII, IX & X)
The Subjects taught at the High school level include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History & Civics,
Geography, Economics, Computer Science, First ,Second and Third languages. The Foundation coaching Target
ISEET/ Target NEET is offered with six sets of study material in maths, physics, chemistry and Biology in addition
to regular academic curriculum.
The pattern for the High school level is similar to that of the middle school and more classes are assigned to
science and maths. Rigorous training is also imparted to prepare the students for the board examination and
also the National Level Talent Olympiad Tests through our specially Structured special coaching.
There is a special training given for Abacus, a brain
mapping programme from classes 3 to 7 for ten
levels with two levels completed each year. This
facilitates easy calculations in Maths removing Math

Assessment
& Evaluation:
According to the latest School Academic structure
and as per the stipulations of the government, all
the necessary changes are brought forth to the ass
essment and evaluation of students through grading
system of marks. Accordingly the modifications
are made in the Student’s Academic Assessment
procedure according to Learning Enhancement
Programme (LEP) & Continuous and Comprehensive
Evaluation (CCE) guidelines as given by the state
government and keeping in view the change of text
books for high school reflecting more activity based
learning.
Study hours pattern
It is the policy of the School that all work should be completed in school
at the primary level. At the end of every day, one period is assigned where
revision work is completed under the supervision of the subject teachers.
Special remedial classes are conducted for those students who need extra
coachings during regular study hours where as the other students are
encouraged to spend their time in reading, creative thinking and improving
their language and subject skills.
The unit tests are based on Formative ( skills based internal
assessment for 20 Marks) and Summative ( written exam for
30 Marks for unit test). The terminal exams are based on all the
skills like Understanding Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Analytical
Skills, Critical Thinking, High Order Thinking and writing skills
etc., and award Grades respectively which will be reflected in
their scholastic report or progress report. Learning Process is a
Continuous one and Assessment is not an activity distinct from

Formative & Summative
Assessments
Summative and Formative Assessments are
conducted for the timely and continuous evaluation
of the students. Term Examinations are conducted
at the end of every term and a detailed report is
prepared. The class teacher, in charges of the primary,
middle and high school sections and the Principal
continuously monitor each student’s performance.
Commendations are issued on a monthly basis to
encourage the children to excel in academics. Prizes
are awarded at the end of the year to the most
promising students.
Formative assessments are on-going assessments,
Project works, reviews, and observations in a
classroom, Questioning, Mapping, Drawing,
Conversational skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading,
Writing i.e LSRW),Disaster Management Skills etc.
Summative assessments are typically used
to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional
programmes and services at the end of predetermined time.
The aim is to ensure that the students have
understood the course work and do not resort to
rote learning. Thus, the students are continuously
assessed and all subject teachers give a detailed
Analysis Report at the end of each test. Special
attention is paid on those students who score less
subject wise.

Slow learners
Slow learners are the students with differentiated difficulties in
different subjects. They may fare well in one but may not have
interest to fare well in another subject. Basically intelligent
but due to different reasons they lag behind in some subjects.
Making them overcome their difficulty in a particular subject
they are offered with extensive support by the specially trained
faculty during study hours.
Screening of slow learners is done after first unit test. Their
performance is evaluated and special remedial classes are
arranged in areas of difficulty. An analysis is done regularly on
their performance and different techniques like tutoring by
teacher, peer tutoring, cooperative learning, group learning,
individualised Programme . Marks analysis after each test is
evaluated and strategies are planned so the child shows marked

Role of the Parents:
The parents are not only the first teachers but also the teachers forever.
Apart from the school efforts, co-operation from parents is extremely
necessary for the ultimate success of the child.
The parents must take care to ensure that the fee dues are cleared from
time to time for the smooth functioning of the school.
Attendance, academic performance and general discipline of the child
must be monitored periodically taking necessary help from the H.M.
Any change in the child’s attitude like lack of interest in studies or sudden
inability to cope up with the work must be notified to H.M

in the year 1986 with a modest strength of 110 and started

The change in the pace of competitions and the short comings

between SSC and Intermediate education. To bridge the gap, for
the first time in India in the year 1997, Brilliant has launched the
concept of FOUNDATION Courses Target IIT / Target MBBS right
from Class VIII onwards.
The main aim of Target IlT / Target MBBS is to lay a strong

1st Rank 585/600 marks, 8 state ranks in SSC —2004 and secured
State 1st Rank 589/600 marks which is an all time record in SSC
Public Examinations, topping the state with highest number of
grade point averages from the time grading system started with
10/10 GPA in every subject The tradition of obtaining ranks and
highest marks in SSC Public Examinations has become a regular
feature. The tremendous success at Dilsukhnagar made us start
3 branches at Narayanguda, Kushaiguda and Kukatpally in the
year 2003 and 5 more branches at Masab Tank, SR Nagar , Begum
Bazar, Champapet and Habsiguda in the year 2004. As such all
the branches including the school at Dilsukhnagar are running in
full spirit with good dynamics for quality education and all round

Montessori House. Well trained and experienced teachers in
their play way methodology make the Montessori children feel
