Eligibility: This match is open to all competitors. Membership in the NRA or FRGC is not required.
Entries: Competitors may preregister by using either the attached Match Entry Form or a standard NRA
SR-1 form, accompanied by payment of the entry fee. Entry fees may be paid using NRA award points
or a check or money order made payable to “Fairfax Rod & Gun Club” (match fees for each match must
be paid by a separate check). Preregistration forms and entry fees must be received not later than the
Wednesday preceding the match. Post entries will be accepted at the range until 15 minutes prior to the
match start time, to the extent that firing positions remain available. The match is limited to 25
competitors and will be conducted in a single relay. Preregistration forms and entry fees should be mailed

Rules: Current NRA Pistol Rules for conventional pistol competitions will govern the match.
Classification: The NRA classification system for conventional pistol competitions will be used, including
Rule 19.6 (assigned classifications for shooters with classifications in related NRA pistol events).
Individuals who have not been classified will fire in the Master Class. Competitors must provide proof of
classification upon request.
Divisions; .22-Only Competitors: Competitors may elect to shoot in any division (Open, Metallic, or
Production) by so notifying the Match Director prior to the commencement of the 1800 match. Any
competitor who does not otherwise so notify the Match Director of such election shall compete in the
Open division. Scores fired in all divisions will be combined for awards purposes. Competitors may also
elect to shoot only .22 caliber guns during the entire 1800 match by so notifying the Match Director prior
to the commencement of the 1800 match.
Firing Position Assignments: At the discretion of the Match Director, firing positions may be assigned,
and competitors will be notified of their firing positions when they sign in at the range on the day of the
match.

Awards: Awards will be given to the open winners in each of the 11 matches. A first place award will be
given in each class and category for each match provided that there are at least 5 competitors in the
class and category. A second place award will be given if there are at least 10 competitors in the class
and category, and a third place award will be given if there are at least 15 competitors in the class and
category. Competitors who elect to shoot only .22 caliber guns during the entire 1800 match as provided
above will be in an awards category separate from all other competitors, will not be eligible for open,

Officer will render final decisions on any challenge. Competitors must provide and wear eye and ear
protection. Competitors must also provide their own staplers, staples, and pasties or tape. Violations of
NRA or club rules, or good safety practices, will result in the competitor’s removal from the range and
forfeiture of fees.
Range Facilities: Lunch is available for an additional charge at the clubhouse near the entrance gate.
Sanitary facilities are available at the range and at the clubhouse.
