La Salle Credit Union members vote in favor
of the amalgamation with Caisse Financial Group

Winnipeg, Manitoba
The members of La Salle Credit Union voted 92.5% in favor of the amalgamation with Caisse Financial Group at the Special
Meeting held on Tuesday, April 7th at Kingswood Golf & Country Club in La Salle, Manitoba.
According to the amalgamation agreement signed by the Board of Directors of both co-operatives, the amalgamation is
scheduled for October 1st, 2015.
La Salle Credit Union operates a single branch in La Salle, Manitoba with more than 2,500 members and $90 million in
assets. Following the amalgamation, La Salle will become Caisse Financial Group’s 27th branch location.
Raymond Bisson, President of the Board of Directors of La Salle Credit Union, is very satisfied with the results of the
vote, indicating that the amalgamation with Caisse Financial Group will be beneficial for the members, employees and
communities of La Salle Credit Union. « Members of La Salle Credit Union will benefit from the complete suite of products
and services offered by Caisse Financial Group and access to all its branches, 3 of which are located in Winnipeg. By voting
in favor of this amalgamation, the members have ensured that financial services can continue to be provided in the La Salle
community for many years to come.”
The president of Caisse Financial Group, Réal Déquier, is also very happy to welcome La Salle back into the Caisse family,
La Salle having been a Caisse at its origins back in 1953. “We are pleased to reintegrate La Salle into the Caisse branch
network, thereby increasing our assets and members and providing economies of scale that will make us more efficient
