Monday, April 13th, 2015 pre-Trip:
6 – 6:30 pm
Mandatory Parent/Student/Administrator meeting. All must attend.
Wednesday, April 15th, 2015-pre-Trip:
7:15 am-3:15pm
Luggage Drop-off! All students must bring in the suitcase/luggage for
administrative bag check. No exceptions! Bags will be stored and locked
up overnight. Please have a visible nametag to easily identify your bag.
All instruments must be packed after class. Folders are to go in your
suitcase. Flutes, oboes, clarinets, trumpets, alto saxes, and bassoon are
considered carry-on. All other instruments will be checked.
Thursday, April 16th, 2015-Day 1:
4:15 a.m.
Students arrive at Calhoun to load busses. Each student is
allowed to carry one suitcase, and one small carry-on. Clarinets/flutes/
oboes/piccolos are to be packed in their suitcase.
All students are to check in with ALYSSA GARBARINO upon arrival!
Any other issue/problem ask MIKE JEAN & NICK MOEHRINGER!
5:15 a.m.
Coach buses leave Calhoun Band Room for John F Kennedy International
Airport. Any student not at the school by this time must be left.
7:45 a.m.
Departure from JFK Airport to Orlando, FL.

10:35 a.m.
Arrival at Orlando Intl. Aiport. Personal Coach Buses from airport to
Epcot.
Orlando Int’l Airport
Terminal B, Level 1
12:00 noon.
Arrive at Epcot. Own lunch and dinner at Epcot.
As usual, there will be regular check-ins throughout the day.
3:15 p.m.
Meet to take Monorail to Magic Kingdom
4:00 p.m.
Arrive at Magic Kingdom
9:00 p.m.
FYI – “Electrical” Parade – SUGGESTION: Watch the parade on
Main Street USA, so that you can get to the meeting place easier.)
10:00 p.m.
FYI – “Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular
10:30 p.m.
Meet at “Town Hall” on Main Street USA, (near main entrance) following
“Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you are
on time! Main Street USA will be crowded with thousands of people.
11:00 p.m.
Arrival at hotel. Check in. Pass out from exhaustion.

at a hotel, all members are to stay out of the halls and in their rooms. You
are to be on your best behavior so as not to disturb other guests. No loud
radio or TV playing, loud talking, running in the halls or misconduct is
permitted, nor will it be tolerated.” All students must be in their rooms.
(Disney Security on Duty from 11 PM until wake-up.)
Friday, April 17th (Day 2)
8:00 a.m.
GOOD MORNING!!! Wake up call.
8:00 – 12:00 DOWNTIME; breakfast on own at hotel food court, pool time.
12:00 – 3:00 Lunch on own at hotel food court
3:00 p.m.
Load bus for competition (instruments, music, concert dress). You will
need all competition materials at this point; concert dress, instruments,
folders, sticks, supplies and a change of clothing for EPCOT. We will
not be coming back to the hotel after competition. I highly suggest an
over-the shoulder bag to carry everything.
3:30 p.m.
Leave for DHS/competition; Disney Premier Theater for competition/
performance with Festival Disney

Return to hotel, unload instruments.

Depart for Animal Kingdom. We will have a special private breakfast and
then a first ride on “Mt. Everest”
12:45 p.m.
Group will meet at front gate by “Rain Forest Café”
1:00 pm
Board buses and depart for Disney Hollywood Studios. Dinner on own in
park.
8:00 p.m.
Festival Disney Awards Ceremony at Lights, Motors, Action Theater
(DHS)
9:00pm ??
Dance Par-tayyy on the Streets of America (immediately following
awards)
9:45 p.m.
Return to hotel after awards ceremony. Free time until curfew (in hotel).
Begin packing for departure. Remember hotel rules! “When staying at

Room checks: once your room is approved you will load the bus with all
bags and proceed to breakfast.
7:00 a.m.
Breakfast in hotel using Disney Debit Card at the food court.
8:15 a.m.
Depart for Workshop.
9:00 a.m.
“You’re Instrumental” Disney Performing Arts Workshop
10:30 a.m.
Depart for Downtown Disney for shopping/browsing time.
1:30 p.m.
Depart for Orlando Intl. Airport via private coach buses.
4:15 p.m
Depart from TAMPA (TPA) Airport for JFK Int. Airport.
