To date I would say: Transforming Stamps from an average, traditional student health service into a modern, high tech, state-of-the art true University Health Service. In the past four years, • we achieved national accreditation for the first time, • instituted an electronic medical record, • did $3+million in capital construction, • left the USG insurance consortium and contracted for a vastly improved and less expensive student health insurance policy, • hosted the Southern College Health Association (SCHA) annual meeting and • heightened our impact on wellness across campus, the State and the region. Personally, I was elected SCHA President and became the first Clinical Professor ever at Georgia Tech. 13 2.
