Dragon-FLY Camp
Grades 3 - 6
This camp is designed for Fairy Camp I graduates
and other young creative’s who are ready for the
next level of imagination and skill for amazing
creative storytelling and art built on the DragonFly. Creative projects include; Botanical head
gear, creative craniums, painting with wax,
colorful “Kandinsky” stenciling on canvas, FotoFoam board Dragon-Flies, & Wishing Sand.
Dragonfly themes of change, color & light and
self-realization will be integrated into the week.

Join us for a week of exploring dyeing techniques
that are not limited to the traditional tie die of
summer camp experiences. We'll explore

DESCRIPTION
2nd Annual Fairy Summer Camp! Welcome back
or join us in celebrating the realm of the Fay.
Campers will enjoy creativity & celebration
centered on the enchanted world of fairy tales &
music. Projects include; personal Fay name, fairy
spying spoons, wishing wands, ice painting, falling
stars & dragon tears & much more! Daily dress up
is highly encouraged for all Goodfellows, Elfin
Folk, Pixies and Sprites! LOTS of artsy fun,
creative play, and a photo fun day with keepsake
collage picture. Fairy Parade with sparkle wings
on Thurs. June 12th @ 11:30 am.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is full of all different
types of art. Find out more about the collection, and
then design and create your own exhibition. In this
camp we will be exploring how museums develop
exhibitions, doing our own artwork to exhibit, and
then using our knowledge to develop an exhibition of
our own. All supplies and materials will be provided.

camp! Join us for a week filled with painting,
drawing, printmaking and more! We will explore
a variety of painting and printing techniques

cards, abstract landscapes, self-portraits, fantasy

EMPOWERMENT Camp!

A-HOY! "Tis a bold new adventure in creative summer
camp for girls! Brought to us by award-winning musical
playwright duo, Robin OK and Serenity Fisher, this
exciting summer session offers girls a one-of-a-kind
opportunity to delve into their own creative spirit.
Girls get the chance to play, create & co-create in a
safe accepting environment, where each is valued for
her unique gifts. Throughout the week, girls will
dabble in the beauty of their imagination, create their
own characters and story lines, play spontaneous
improv games, co-create music, laugh, dance, breathe
and appreciate their bodies in motion. There will also
be costuming, creative team-work, and a treasure
chest of surprises. The final day culminates in a
performance showcasing each girls' individual
contribution to the whole. Family and friends
welcome.
The pirate theme is Inspired by Robin & Serenity's
latest musical stage production, "Booty! A
Revolutionary Pirate Tale," which recently debuted at
Cincinnati Fringe Festival 2014. Based on real-life
historical girl pirates, the play seeks to empower girls
to trust their own voice, power and truth. Camp

Mash-up Camp!
Grades 3 - 6
Campers get to design their own trendy fabric,
learn different hand stitches, and get instruction a
sewing machine in Sew Fun. No sewing
experience is needed – just bring your
imagination! Daily projects include power cuffs,
slithery snakes, crowns, treasure bags and dream
[ pillow] cases.
Camp Size limit of 10-12. Camp Leader: Terri

What can you create with sticks and string?
LOTS of wild and wonderful things! With
constant hands-on practice, campers will be
introduced to the ancient art of knitting.
Basic stitches will be mastered and advanced
stitches and techniques will be explored!
Campers can choose their own knitting
project to work on! Choose from bags, hats,
zombie or owl pillows, gadget cases, and
MORE! Campers will also participate in a
community art project that will showcase
their stitching skills; a YARN BOMB! No

This camp is a vivid mash-up of projects all created
from Duck Tape, Sharpie Markers and Washi
Tape! Projects include Foam board doodle-dos,

more! Daily structured projects + daily time and
Ductivity table for independent mini mash-ups.

Colorful Art Supplies + Beatmaker = creative
projects like bucket drumming & Sharpie
Graffiti art, rap song composing, collage-a-song,

performance scheduled for last day of camp for
invited guests of campers. All rap songs are
positive in nature and rated G. Camp Leaders:

Join us for a look into all American artwork in the
collection at the Cincinnati Art Museum. The
Cincinnati Art Museum will host the great
American icon, American Gothic, by Grant Wood
this fall and we are gearing up with a look at this
work and other American classics. Students will
use their new knowledge to create their own
artwork in response. All supplies and materials

DESCRIPTION
What is "Wild Blue"? It's BEing the true blue Y-OU! It's blue like the sky and the sea, vast and wild
like only young girls in the summer-time can be!
This color-full, one-of-a-kind camp provides safe
space for girls to DANCE, SING & CREATE
something every day! Each activity is designed to
build confidence and encourage girls to claim
their own true blue beauty. Girls celebrate their
physical bodies in non-competitive, playful
expression, including dance, yoga, breathing,
laughter and more. They get to sing and make
music however they choose. They'll be given
blam-tastic, groove-a-licious opportunities to
make up words, stories and poems - both serious
and silly - on their own and as a group. They will
be ARTists, manifesting fantastic paintings,
jewelry and and mixed-media creations galore.
This session also includes adventures into the
wild blue yonder beyond the bungalow doors

 The parent or guardian whose name appears on the Programming agreement must sign
the camper in and out every day.
 Photo identification must be presented at sign-in and sign-out. Authorized adults must
be noted on the Youth Programming Agreement Form.
 If an adult whose name is not listed on the Programming agreement will be picking the
camper up, we must have a signed note from the parent/guardian in advance, indicating
that they give permission for that person to pick their child up. Their photo
identification must be shown at sign-out.
