Dear Cassville Residents and Business Owners,
In recent months, there have been several comments about Cassville that have been brought to the Tourism
Committees attention. Past residents and tourists new and old are saying things like “Cassville could use a paint
brush”, “Cassville used to be”, and “Cassville once was”. As a committee trying to promote our community, we
have decided to take action!
The first annual “Beautify Cassville Day” will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in the
Village of Cassville. We are looking for volunteers, homeowners, and business owners to help neighbors and
friends spruce up our neighborhoods!
Beautify Cassville Day Activities Include:
Yard maintenance (i.e. seed, mow, trim, and rake)
Washing house exteriors
Remove weeds in cracks of sidewalks/curbs
Trim bushes and trees
Spruce up porches/decks
Plant/Weed flower beds
Refresh exterior paint
Clean gutters
Minor exterior home repairs (i.e. hanging shutters and gutters, broken doors, holes in screens)
Sweep yard trimmings from curbs/gutters
There will be large dumpsters located at DTE for garbage disposal, electronics disposal, and appliance disposal, free
of charge for Village of Cassville residents. Proof of Village residency will be required (i.e. driver’s license, ID
card, or current water bill). Items that will not be accepted: Tires, hazardous waste, mattresses, large furniture, oil,
batteries, paint, etc. In addition, the committee is putting together groups of volunteers to assist the Village of
Cassville residents and business owners with sprucing up their property. This includes trucks to haul garbage and
assistance with any of the day’s activities listed above.

608-725-5180. Volunteers will meet in Riverside Park at 7:45AM on June 13 th. There will be a lunch served at
Riverside Park for all volunteers to Celebrate Cassville at 12:00PM the day of the event. This event will happen rain
or shine and assistance and dumpsters will be available based on a first come first serve basis. Please share with the
