Thank you to everyone who applied. Seniors: The Cassville High School Alumni Association Scholarship is now available in the counselor’s office. To be considered eligible you must be a relative of a previous CHS graduate. Applications must be returned to the counselor’s office no later than 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 13th. Balfour senior announcements can be purchased in the high school office. Announcements are $1.00 each – first come, first served! All Shell Knob seniors need to stop by the Counselor’s Office for scholarship applications for Shell Knob Lions Club, Eagles Lodge, Thrifty Closet, and Methodist Church. Prom tickets will be sold during all three lunches. Tickets are $15 per person. See Mrs. Poulson in room 210 if you have questions. The Barry County Youth Camp is looking for volunteers. You need to be 16 years old or older, willing to stay overnight at the camp and you should like to work with kids. It runs from 05/25-05/29 and is located in Roaring River. You will be working with 7-10 year old children. Applications are in the counselor's office and they are due on April 10th. The Prom sign-up sheet is in the office. ALL students & dates planning to attend prom must be signed up in order to attend. Dates must be of high school age but under the age of 21. If you are bringing a date who does not attend Cassville High School, you must get the “Out of School Date permission slip” filled out & approved in order for your date to come to prom. The deadline to sign up for Prom is Monday, April 13th. If you are male student with a 3.0 GPA and you are planning on attending Mizzou next year, stop by the counselor's office to get information about the Man of Achievement Scholarships. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 30TH. Attention Juniors! The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is starting a new leadership program for next year's Seniors. Tomorrow's Leaders Today (TLT) will provide an opportunity to learn more about the area and the importance of community involvement. Please stop by the counselor's office for more information and to pick up an application packet. Any senior who has not passed the Missouri Constitution test will need to do so in order to graduate. If you are not sure if you need to take it - please see one of the counselors. Credit Recovery is being held every Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for any student who failed a core class last semester. Contact the Counselor's Office for more information. The Cassville YMCA is looking for a full time male camp counselor along with lifeguards for the 2015 summer season. If interested stop by the counselor’s office or the Cassville YMCA for more information. SADD is meeting Tuesdays after school from 3:30 till 4:30 and before school on Fridays at 7:30. All members need to make arrangements to attend these meetings. COLLEGE REPS. WILL NOW BE VISITING OUR CAMPUS. THEY WILL SET UP A TABLE IN THE COMMONS AREA DURING ALL 3 LUNCHES. THE COLLEGE REP. SHARES INFO ABOUT THEIR SCHOOL AND LOADS YOU UP WITH FREEBIES. OTC: Monday - April 13 SENIORS There is a new scholarship list in the counselor’s office dated 4/3/15. You need to check your gmail account at school for project graduation information. GENERAL INFORMATION **Students MUST have their Student ID’s at Lunch Period. If they do NOT have their card, they MUST wait until ALL students with cards have gone thru the line. If students do NOT have their ID they can NOT purchase Extras. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHERE YOUR CARD IS, PURCHASE A NEW ONE IN OFFICE FOR $3.00. Art club will be meeting after school the 1st Friday of each month AND every remaining week on Thursdays.
