Announcements are $1.00 each – first come, first served! ATTENTION FRESHMAN - The Missouri Chamber Education Foundation will be hosting the 19th annual LEADERSHIP IN PRACTICE statewide leadership development camp on June 21 - 24, 2015. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Miller. You will have to submit an application and letter of recommendation to the Missouri Chamber Education Foundation by APRIL 1, 2015. The cost of the program is $225 and there is a $25 application fee to apply. There are partial and full scholarships for students who have need and wish to apply. Prom tickets will be sold during all three lunches. Tickets are $15 per person. See Mrs. Poulson in room 210 if you have questions. There will be a FAFSA workshop on Saturday, March 28th at the Crowder Campus in Cassville. The workshop will be open from 10:00 to 1:00 and you will need to bring 2014 income tax returns (both parents and students if under the age of 24). There are other dates available as well and flyers are available in the counselor's office with those dates and locations. Fall Color Guard clinic/auditions will be held the week of March 30th from 3:30-5:00 pm each day. We will have a short informational meeting in the band room the first day and meet in FEMA 2 (high school) every other day. No experience in color guard necessary...dance and athletic experience is a plus. Come check it out! The Barry County Youth Camp is looking for volunteers. You need to be 16 years old or older, willing to stay overnight at the camp and you should like to work with kids. It runs from 05/25-05/29 and is located in Roaring River. You will be working with 7-10 year old children. Applications are in the counselor's office and they are due on April 10th. The Prom sign-up sheet is in the office. ALL students & dates planning to attend prom must be signed up in order to attend. Dates must be of high school age but under the age of 21. If you are bringing a date who does not attend Cassville High School, you must get the “Out of School Date permission slip” filled out & approved in order for your date to come to prom. The deadline to sign up for Prom is Monday, April 13th. If you are male student with a 3.0 GPA and you are planning on attending Mizzou next year, stop by the counselor's office to get information about the Man of Achievement Scholarships. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 30TH. Attention Juniors! The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is starting a new leadership program for next year's Seniors. Tomorrow's Leaders Today (TLT) will provide an opportunity to learn more about the area and the importance of community involvement. Please stop by the counselor's office for more information and to pick up an application packet. Any senior who has not passed the Missouri Constitution test will need to do so in order to graduate. If you are not sure if you need to take it - please see one of the counselors. Credit Recovery is being held every Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for any student who failed a core class last semester. Contact the Counselor's Office for more information. The Cassville YMCA is looking for a full time male camp counselor along with lifeguards for the 2015 summer season. If interested stop by the counselor’s office or the Cassville YMCA for more information. SADD is meeting Tuesdays after school from 3:30 till 4:30 and before school on Fridays at 7:30.
