CBBC China Outbound Programme 2014/15 - China

CBBC China Outbound Programme 2014/15
Global partnerships for a global economy
CBBC’s China Outbound Programme has been carefully designed to create an exciting and
comprehensive new platform allowing UK companies the opportunity to partner with Chinese
companies going global – one of the most exciting and deepening trends of UK China trade and
investment relations.
Through a wide-ranging series of mutually-reinforcing CBBC events, a dedicated China Outbound
website, visiting Chinese delegations, CBBC’s China Outbound Programme has been constructed to help
UK and Chinese companies work together on the international stage.
Key Features
There are three core elements to the CBBC China Outbound Programme:
•
China Outbound Seminars and Flagship Conference
CBBC will organise a ten city roadshow in key centres across China. Each city will review various
UK investment opportunities relating to sectors and regions. The Flagship CBBC China
Outbound Conference will be held in October 2014 and will be hosted and chaired by CBBC
Chairman Lord Sassoon.
•
China Outbound Website
CBBC will launch a Chinese language China Outbound website showcasing UK cities and regions,
key sectors and listing specific business opportunities. The website will make it even easier for
British companies to work together internationally with Chinese partners and for regions and
cities to promote their proposition.
•
Chinese Investment Delegations
CBBC will be hosting visits to the UK by a number of high-profile Chinese delegations
throughout the year. These delegations are keen to understand more about the UK business
environment and to meet potential partners.
