Summer TUMBLING CAMP June 19th-20th TUMBLING INTENSIVES $39 **Athletes should attend the skill class that represents their current level of tumbling. Session #1: All things back handsprings and tucks GALORE! For beginning athletes through athletes working on alternate passes with back tucks. We will introduce layouts to the advanced group of kids in this group. For athletes currently on Level 1, 2 and 3 teams! Athletes will be split according to skills they are working to master. Focus on both standing and running tumbling skills. Session #2: Lay it out, SET it up, bound it out, and TWIST TWIST TWIST! For athletes currently on Level 4 and 5 Teams. Must have the minimum of a round off handpsring layout unassisted on the floor to attend this session. Athletes will be split according to the skills they are working to master. Focus on both standing and running tumbling skills. JOHN CRONIN - California Allstars SMOED Tumbling Coach 9:30-11am July 6th: Broomfield | July 7th: Parker Basic Tumbling: Improving Backwalkovers, Cartwheels, Round offs, and handstand technique *No experience necessary– learn the foundations of tumbling! Punch Fronts and Proper Back Tuck Technique Focusing on proper tuck technique - both front and back! *Must have a solid round off back handspring unassisted to attend this class. Learning and Perfecting a Double Full Athletes new to doubles or already with doubles encouraged to attend to add alternate skills to their passes. *Must have a SOLID round off handspring full to attend this class. Flexibility to make ‘em Jealous! *For anyone wishing to improve flexibility! 11:15am-12:45pm Beginning Standing Back Handsprings Will teach the fundamentals of a backhandspring. *Must have a handstand to attend this class. Advanced Standing Back Handsprings Work on putting single and multiple standing handsprings on the floor. *Must have a standing handspring unassisted on the tumble trak or floor to attend. Round Off Handspring Tucks *Must have a minimum of round off 2 back handsprings unassisted on the floor. Bounding and Alternate Skills Work on whips, whip layouts, whip fulls, doubles, arabians, punch front through and MORE! *Must have a solid round off back handspring layout on the floor. 1:45-3:15pm Round Off Back Handsprings and Alternate Passes w/ Back Handpsrings Athletes will be broken into levels to work on anything from single round off handsprings through alternate handspring passes. *Must have a minimum of a back handspring unassisted on the tumble trak. Running Layouts: Make your layout HIGH and TWISTABLE Great to focus on improving height and technique in layouts. *Must have a Round Off Handspring Tuck (unspotted) on the floor to attend Standing Fulls and Cartwheel Fulls *Must already have a running full unassisted on the floor. 3:30-5pm Learning and Perfecting a Full (Beginning & Advanced) *Beginning: Must have a solid layout. For athletes not yet twisting a full - you will learn the technique to twist! *Advanced: For athletes already twisting a full off the tumble trak. Gain additional confidence and bring it to the floor! Handspring Tucks & Standing Tucks *Must have atleast a running round off handspring tuck to attend this class. OPEN TRAINING w/ JOHN CRONIN & CCS COACHES! Work on skills of your choice! Coaches will help athletes work on skills of their choice. Open gym type format.
