• helping your program give back to the community High School What will happen when you sign up? § You will receive an order form by email once per week that lists available produce items along with price per volume. Select the items and volume that you would like to order and email the form back to the WFC coordinator by the weekly deadline. § Every Monday the WFC coordinator will arrive at your school with your order. Staff and students often help carry everything inside. § You will discuss your payment options and schedule with the WFC coordinator. Payment options include cash, cheque and online by credit card. § After 1-­‐2 months of participating in the program you will be asked to fill out a short evaluation of your experience. This will help CNCM and WFC improve the delivery program. Frequently Asked Questions: Q. What is Winnipeg Foodshare Co-­‐op (WFC)? A. Winnipeg Foodshare is a local community-­‐service co-­‐operative that specializes in weekly delivery of high quality, bulk produce. Foodshare offers a great variety of produce items each week including staples like apples, bananas, mini and jumbo carrots and cucumbers (see p.2 for more details!). Money spent at WFC is put back into the community through its other food programs, helping to make fresh foods more accessible to families and individuals in Winnipeg. Q. How do WFC’s prices compare with other grocery retailers? A. WFC offers produce at prices that are generally 10% lower than discount, large and wholesale retailers and 20-­‐40% lower than regular grocery stores. Q. How do I make an order for my program? A. The WFC coordinator will email an order form to you each week. The order form lists the items currently available along with the volumes and the cost (see p.2 for an example). You will select the items and volumes that you want to order for the upcoming week and email the completed form back to the WFC coordinator. Q. What are the payment options for produce orders from WFC? A. Orders can be paid for weekly or monthly by cash, cheque or online by credit card through PayPal. 1 Sample Order Form Note: A new order form will be emailed to you or your program coordinator each week by the WFC coordinator.
