Helen’s Home Lunch is the
name of the cafe on Main
Street formerly known as
Barry’s Cafe. The proprietress
is Helen Smoody, who opened
for business this week. She was
in the restaurant business in
Newark, NJ for 19 years and
comes here from Fargo, ND
where she has lived with a sister
for the past three years.

of Crosby was elected president
of the Minnesota Alumni Club
of the Michigan College of
Mining Technology at a recent
meeting of the group.
