Yarns required to make Hat: 3 x 50g balls beginner Flower Hat (Beginner) MEASUREMENTS Fits head (approx) 56 cms/22 ins SEAN SHEEP YARN FLOWER GARDEN 3 x 50g balls Needles A pair each 8.00mm (US 11), (UK 0) and 7.00mm (US 10½), (UK 2) Knitting Needles or size that gives correct tension/gauge. MATERIALS A Yarn Needle. TENSION/GAUGE 11 sts and 15 rows to 10 cms/4 ins over stocking st, using 8.00mm (US 11), (UK 0) Knitting Needles. Note - Correct tension/gauge is essential for a successful handknit. ABBREVIATIONS St/s - stitch/es, K - Knit, P - Purl, RS right side, WS - wrong side, garter st - every row knit, stocking st - 1 row K, 1 row P, beg - begin/ning, inc - increase, rep - repeat, dec - decrease, K2tog knit 2 sts together, foll - follow/ing, alt - alternate, rem - remain/ing. SPECIAL NOTE When working in stocking st and the loop section of the yarn approaches you will need to work 1 or 2 sts as purl sts on RS row or knit sts on WS row, this will make loops appear on the RS of work.
