Distinguished guests of the FRA Auxiliary National President Doris Fri and the FRA Auxiliary Regional President Lauren Wynn will be here to do the installation. Pres. – Kathleen Armbruster V.Pres. – Cathy Berkshire Sec/Tres – Lisa Rema Chaplain – Penny Christianson OUR BENEFIT DINNER for our Fallen Hero banners went great. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Amy, Betty & Jerry for handling the Event. Great Job, food was great. We are now able to donate $500.00 our cause! COUPLES MEAT SHOOT/POTLUCK: It was a big success with 12 couples, everyone seemed to have a good time! Doing it again April 19th, Scotch Doubles. ST PATRICKS DAY IRISH POTLUCK & CANDY COUNT: This year St. Patty’s Day was on a Tuesday with an Irish theme potluck and bingo. Good food and fun was had by all…nice green socks and fun green bubbly drinks. Walt Flynn won our candy count with a guess of 1853 the actual at 1877 little candies. Thanks to Barbara for donating her time and the candy jars for our fun. A SPECIAL THANKS To all the volunteers! We sent flowers to Colleen Taylor – she is now feeling much better. ☺ We also, sent flowers to Sonja Lail, She is also on the mend and hopefully will be home soon. Last Month’s Texas Hold’Em Tournament Winners: Feb 28th, Roy & Jim F split for first. Mar 7th, JJ & George tied for first. Mar 14th, JJ & Roy tied for first. Mar 21st, Karen E won first. REMINDER, TO ALL MEMBERS: Please be aware that we have limited parking. If everyone would be a little more aware/considerate of how they park (meaning please pull forward so as not to take up two spots), that would help a lot. Also, our handicap spots are designated for those that are truly handicapped, elderly, or loading and unloading. Thank You April 1st is the beginning of our new membership year! Have you renewed? Time to get it done now!!! THANK YOU NOTE: WE SERIOUSLY need help to keep our HORSE RACES going. Our volunteers are getting tired doing it all the time. If you would like to help please let me know. A Saturday a month would be great... to ALL of our Volunteers. It takes a lot of volunteers to help with all of the activities at the Club. Pool Shoots, Bingo, Horse Races, Paddle Wheel, Helping in the kitchen with Potlucks. If you would like to volunteer there are sign-up sheets next to the sign in box at the Club. Greatly appreciated. We don’t want to burn out the same volunteers weekly. SPECIAL HAPPENINGS THIS MONTH: BUNCO Monday, April 13th!! LOOK Branch hosting a Spaghetti Dinner April 3rd, 6 to 8pm. Donations for the dinner will be benefitting the newly installed Auxiliary. COUPLE’S POTLUCK MEAT POOL SHOOT – SUNDAY, APRIL 19th @1PM. SCOTCH DOUBLES. Bring your favorite potluck dish. Let Rich know if you want to shoot. If you don’t have a partner come in anyhow and we will try and pair you up with one. SILENT AUCTION - - It’s almost time for our Silent Auction. This year it will run from Friday, April 24th thru Sunday, May 3rd. Auction bids up to 7pm, then the doors will be locked on the 3rd. Please have all donated items to the Club by April 23rd.
