Mountain and Moorland. Registered and unregistered any age.
Championship- 1st and 2nd places from classes 2-5.

and heavy horse breeds.
Class 10. Coloured. Horse/Pony 4 years and over any height or type including appaloosa.
Class 11. Mountain and Moorland. Registered and unregistered 4 years and over.
Class 12. Hunter. Horse 4 years and over of hunter type, any height.
Class 13. Riding Horse. Horse 4 years and over of riding horse type any height.
Class 14. Riding Club Horse/Pony. Horse/Pony 4 years and over any height or type. To
include 1 jump approx 2’3”.

RULES
1. For riders 16 years and over and covered by third party insurance through private, BHS, Pony Club
or equine club insurance.
2. All horses/ponies in ridden classes must be at least four years of age.
3. The Judge’s decision is final. Any complaints to be made in writing to the secretary within 1 hour
of the occurrence of the event giving rise to the complaint, with a £20 deposit which will be returned
if the complaint is upheld.
4. Neither the organisers of this event, nor any person acting on their behalf, the owners of the show
ground or agents acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident injury or
illness to animals, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.
5. A hard hat to EN1384 or PAS015 must be worn with a dark cover, by all mounted riders whether
competing or not. All hats prefixed SEI or ASTM are acceptable. A chin strap, which has nondetachable retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points, should be used. Any rider
found to be using a hat to a lower specification will be disqualified from the competition. A back
protector is recommended for jumping classes.
6. Each horse may enter a multiple classes. Please plan your entries to avoid clashes; however
should your classes clash on the day we will not hold back other classes in your absence other than
with the express prior consent of the judge and at our discretion. We regret any inconvenience
however delaying a class to cater for some entrants unfortunately has a knock on effect for other
competitors.
7. DOGS NOT ALLOWED ON THE SHOW GROUND.
8. We ask that competitors avoid competing in classes where they receive lessons from or own a
horse bred, broken or produced by the judge.
9. No stallions, colts or foals allowed in show classes.
10. Rosettes to 6th place in all classes.
11. The organisers reserve the right to split or combine classes according to entries.
12. EDRC members helping for at least 3hr (1/2 a day) can earn a voucher towards a free entry at the
next EDRC show. Please present to the Secretary confirming that you are claiming your voucher at
the end of your day /½ day to have this recorded.
